A little series of images I drew of them fusing.
Chrysocolla (the teal /blue one)
Based on my research of the gems meaning, Chrysocolla's are meant to be calm, positive, wise and intelligent. They allow one to see the truth about themselves and who they are /who they are meant to be.
Chrysocolla's are mainly used to reassure the gems, help them when they need emotional support. In simple words, they are basically like therapists.
However, this Chrysocolla goes on missions for her diamond (blue diamond, see that she is blue and her gem is placed on her chest). She's basically like our Pearl, a fighter even though that isn't what she was originally meant to be. She was special and blue diamond loved her. Key word loved and was.
Pezzottaite, the pink one.
Pezzottaite is a newer kind of gem on home world. They are rare because there is less of them on home world and are very pretty. Based on research red beryl or Pezzottaite are known to be for healing purposes. So Pezzottaite is like Rose Quartz. Pretty, strong, pink, and a healer.
Pezzottaite is fun loving and carefree. She no longer has a diamond as pink diamond, her diamond (see that she is pink and her gem is placed on her stomach) was shattered supposedly by Rose Quartz who she has never formally met being that she was made after rose Quartz fled home world and wasn't present when she was shattered. Like our jasper, she was made for pink, but did not personally know pink or meet her in person. She can heal gems, not as well as rose quartz where she can save a gem who is so far gone that their gem is close to shattering. But she can help if it's just a few hairline fractures.
Blue Diamond tends to keep all of pink diamonds gems because she loved pink and wanted to keep her gems and human zoo to remember her by. So she has Pezzotaite now.
Pezzottaite and Chrysocolla crossed paths one day and instantly hit it off. They tried fusing, even though fusing is looked down upon on home world.

They became a colour-shifting Rhodolite.
They got caught by Blue, who was disgusted by them.
Like our sapphire and ruby, home world no longer wants them for fusing with a gem that isn't their own kind.
So they fled home world and now live in an abandoned lake house together. where they like to feed the cute little ducks and play games to cure their boredom.
