Chapter one

Struggling to get in with about 3 shopping bags on each arm and set them on the counter top and boiled he kettle. I was exhausted, I had just moved to London last week and it has been hectic. Finding the perfect apartment was enough, let alone all of the decorating and planning. At least I had me mum to help and take care of me back in New York.

After having a cup of tea and putting away the shopping, it was around 6pm so I decided to make myself some dinner. I went with a homemade pizza with my all time favourite toppings; ham, sweetcorn, pineapple and bacon. Weird I know but I love it.

After eating I went with running a hot bath to calm me down. I put some lavender candles and added some rose petals. I washed my hair and moisturised my body and lied down in bed with one of my favourite books, 'the fault in our stars'

It's about a girl who is diagnosed with lung cancer and Falls I love with a boy who has an electronic leg who recently kicked cancer in the butt and has a best friend who is completely blind. The boy uses his wish from the 'make a wish foundation' to take her to her favourites authors house in Amsterdam but he turns out the be a total dick. The boy's cancer comes back but all over his body, the cancer then kicks him in the butt and he sadly dies, it's truly heart breaking but it so moving and I love it.

After reading for a while I listened to some music and check my twitter and Facebook. The next thing I remember is watching a vine on twitter before drifting off into a deep sleep.

Melissa woods had lived with her mother in New York since her father left her at about 12 years old. She now is 21 years old and has moved to London to start a new life.
