'Okay, you can do this' you tell yourself as you walk down the hall reaching for your friends dorm. You and Ruta have been best friends for about 7 years now.

You wanted to ask her for her advice on how to tell a crush you like them. You wanted to ask out Jaemin, whom you had a crush on since you and Ruta moved to South Korea. To be honest, you liked him since the day you met him on the first day of college. It felt like just yesterday, when your basic brown eyes met his chocolate brown eyes and his luscious hair, you wanted to touch it so bad, but couldn't, because that would be odd. It was like love at first sight for you.

"21, 23, ahh 25" you said while reaching torwards Ruta's door. You stretched out your arm to knock on her door before seeing the door was already left open slightly. You opened her creaky door to see a horrific sight.

Both Jaemin and Ruta turned their heads when they heard the door creak. You stood there shocked but prossesed what happend in the blink of an eye. You quickly bowed, apologised and closed the door.

Walking back to your dorm, you felt tears well up in your eyes. That had been the worst thing you could have ever possibly seen in your entire life.

You felt as if your world had been tearing apart. You couldn't blame Ruta, as you never told her how you felt torwards Jaemin. 'I just wish I confessed a bit earlier..Just a bit.. but would that even make a difference?' you thought to yourself as tears kept streaming down your face. You wiped your tears away and pulled your hair backwards to notice your earring was missing. That was the earring your mom gave you as a birthday gift before she had passed away due to a heart condition. 'Great' you thought as you began to frantically search for your earring while holding your ear.

You heard footsteps coming torwards you, when you looked up you saw Jeno. He suprisingly came close to you and showed you your lost earring. "Hey, is this yours?" You nod confirming. He leans in forward to take away your hand from your ear only to put in the missing earring.

"Hey, can I talk to you for a second?" He asks as you nod saying yes while staring into his surprisingly mesmerising eyes which was a charming atribute you noticed before in the boy.

You two go for a walk in absolute slience as Jeno didn't know how to start the converstation while you were still upset thinking about the situation that occured earlier.

"So" you started off to ease the tension that was roaming around at the top of your heads. It looked like Jeno was thinking for quite a bit as his pupils seemed to dilate right to left.

He suddenly stops walking, making you look back at him confused. "Why did you stop?" you ask. He comes forward as he suddenly intertwines both of your hands with his. Your heart flutters as your brain seems to be messed up at this point.

"Y/n" Jeno says with a slightly shaky voice. "I'm really nervous right now, and might regret myself after this, but---" you didn't seem to pay attention afterwards as he connected his lips with yours making you jump in confusion. But that did't make you stop him from kissing you as he continued on deepening the kiss. You closed your eyes as it felt like all your worries and troubles were dissolving into the kiss you and Jeno were sharing.
You felt this kind of spark with Jeno that you never felt around Jaemin.

He pulled back as you come back to your senses, " uh what were you saying before-- you know--that" you say pointing to your lips. You blushed as you looked away feeling yourself get hotter even though the temperature was supposedly getting colder.

He chuckled as he took a step back, rubbing the nape of his neck as he bounced from one foot to the other." Im sorry for that and I wanted to say that I really like you, Ive been liking you for quite a while now,, Ive lost count for how long exactly"

He didn't make eye contact as his eyes dart anywhere but at you "I just..find you amazing, everything from your personality to your looks, everything is just...perfect" He gazes up at you, finally finding the confidence to look you in the eye.

You burned up even more than before, not once have you ever felt like this with Jaemin. Jeno has always been that best friend of yours that you couldn't see as more than just a friend because you were blinded by the love you had for Jaemin.

Today Jeno opened your eyes and opened a whole new world for you.

You looked up shyly but still shocked at the words that came out of jeno's mouth. Things might have been going a little fast between you two, but you didnt care, you wanted to be happy and you wanted him to be happy.

You nodedd frantically, smiling as wide as you could "I like you too Jeno and I am willing to give us a try"

You walked up to him and wrapped your arms around his neck, pulling him into a tight hug as he wrapped his arms around your waist pulling the two of you even closer.

Jeno pulls away slightly only to capture your lips in an ever lasting kiss. Thoughts of Jaemin were long gone and forgotten. This was a night to remember for sure.
