We walked to the apartment, and I left for my room and right before i closed the door for the night I saw her skip to her room & damn, her over sized Yankees shirt and ripped cut jeans she was so beautiful, and I couldn't help but stare, I mean I know I'm with Add or whatever but she was'nt even like that pretty like she had shoulder high brown hair & she had a fringe, she was just so awesome you know? She could make fun of me without me getting mad which was awfully rare, she was funny and makes you curious. Anyway I wanted to forget about today, but it’s kind of difficult to forget the best day of your life. I took off my shirt and went to bed, I checked the clock and it was 10:42 p.m woah? it was late how long have we been out I checked my phone one last time 8 texts, 3 of them were from Creg, 4 from Addison -typical and one was from the new saved number on my phone.
Lola: Not too bad from Ms. Nobody eh? I replied almost immediately
Me: Not bad, not bad at all
Lola: Same time tomorrow?
Me: Football practice :p
She didn't reply
2 minutes later
5 minutes later
I could'nt take it anymore so I texted her again saying
Me: But Thursday would sound good, if you’re um free?
Lola: Sounds Good.
i smiled to myself for some unknown reason that I did'nt want to find out what.
I texted Creg back to say I could'nt make it to some college party on Thursday cause I had 'things’ to do, he replied but I was too dozed off to see what it was.
BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEEEEEEP! ugh. I smacked my alarm clock to make it stop but instead of stopping it fell onto the floor continuing to beep. OKAY I'M UP i yelled at it, wow i'm talking to my alarm clock wow Carter really? I had a 2 minute shower drier off my hair, slipped into my black jeans and plain white V-Neck which slightly revealed my chest tattoo but I didn't really care. I walked out of my room just when the elevator door was about to close the same time as yesterday but unlike yesterday she held it open for me and gave me a warm smile "morning" "Hey" I replied. She was wearing a Manchester United Hoodie with shorts and her hair let loose. "You watch Football?" I asked "Yepp, you?" she popped the 'p' "oh yeah totally" i lied "you must be shitting me? You’re in a Football team and you don't watch maybe i don't know FOOTBALL?" she exclaimed, I laughed at her remark but mostly at myself "yeah well, i used to its alright, i mean I used to love it but-" I said "Hey what about after your game tonight you can come over and we can watch the match at my place" she half-whispered "cool, yeah sure" i said casually. We arrived at school and took our separate paths. I saw Creg & his girlfriend Maddison walking towards me, they've been together since Freshman year, 4 years now. "Hey man" Creg said while holding his girlfriends waist she was practically the same as Addison, blonde, beautiful, hot and dumb, but Maddison sure wasn't dumb. She was going to Harvard Next year. '' Hey Carter" she said "hey" I said to the both of them, Creg begged that I came to the college party, trying to buy me off by saying there would be a lot of free beer, only one thing I don't drink. Besides i had plans with Lola. I was walking off to class after a small conversation with Creg & his girlfriend when a beautiful blonde walked up to me "Carter" she gasped out of breath "Trac-Addison Hi" I smiled hoping she was too out of breath to realize my small mistake. Fortunately she didn't. ''Carter, I've been looking for you everywhere, I mean I think I'm late for cheer practice but it doesn't matter I need to ask you are you like avoiding me cause you haven’t been answering my calls or texts but Kim said you called me pretty so you’re still interested but-" I couldn’t take it anymore, I cut it off. ''Addison I'm breaking up with you" she gasped & swallowed a sob "but-" she tried "listen just go to cheer practice it’s not you it’s me honestly" I smiled sympathetically I offered a hug, and she took it. "Bye" she said "bye". I walked to math class only a bit late and got a small lecture & walked to the back of the class & sat behind Lola, we didn't acknowledge each other but she gave me a small smile, i passed her a note.
