Grecia's POV
I walked down the bus steps and the cold wind hit my face. I quickly glanced at Michael who led me out onto the pavement. We walked hand in hand and he turned to face me."Would you like me to take you home?" Michael asked politely.
"No thanks my apartment building is across the street." I pointed to the apartment. "Are you sure you don't want your coat? You'll have to walk in the cold."
Even though Michael insisted I kept the coat I wouldn't let him leave without it. I'm very impatient and stubborn? I don't consider myself a bad person. I like being kind to people and helping them out. I totally love that because it overpowers my least favorite traits.
"No it's okay. I have to get going but I'll see you around Grecia." He gave me one last smile before winking and turning around before disappearing behind a building.
His smile kinda made my heart melt not gonna lie.
I sighed loudly and stood there trying to decide what I was going to do next.
My teeth rattled from the cold and I headed towards my apartment building. I decided that was the best place to be since I had been gone most of the morning running errands. I was so disappointed that they hadn't accepted me, it was something I really wanted to do.I walked through the dark hall until I found my room. I unlocked the door and entered, letting out a sigh in exhaustion as I collapsed onto the couch.
I clicked on the small heater in front of me and wheeled it towards the couch for warmth.
"Wiggles!" I called. My grey cat wiggles ran over to me and jumped onto the couch.
He purred loudly and rubbed his face on the side of my hand. "I missed you so much." I said stroking his fur. He walked over to the couch arm and sniffed the coat laying there that Michael gave me."Interesting huh? A cute guy named Michael gave it to me." He stuffed his face under the coat and covered himself, closing his eyes. I chucked at his silliness and he rolled onto his back letting out a meow in response.
I was going to watch television when something caught my eye. I noticed writing on the white tag under the hoodie and I lifted it up. There written was an address.
101st ave #1095That street was about 10 minutes away. What did it mean?

The very next day I woke up the couch with wiggles laying on Michael's coat next to me. I still had curiosity about the address on the coat. Maybe it was Michael's house and he wrote that if he ever lost it. I was considering going to his house and returning the coat. He needed his coat I could tell he wore it outside a lot. I slid the jacket on and grabbed a blanket, putting it over wiggles."Sorry I took your coat away wiggles, I'm going on a little adventure."
I opened the front door and peered out into the busy traffic. Once the light was red I crossed the street.
My heels hit the ground and made a click each time I stepped.
The wind had calmed which I was happy about. I thought it was going to rain in the morning but I was lucky
It hadn't.At last I arrived, and saw a sign that read 101st Ave. I peered down the row of houses and looked at the address numbers until I found the house 1095 and knocked on the door.
"Can I help you?" I smiled when Michael opened the door.
His confused face grew into excited one and he realized it was me. "Oh hi Grecia! What are doing at my house?"
I sighed knowing he didn't want the coat back. "I saw your address on the hoodie and I wanted to say hi. Also, to return your coat."
I shoved it against his chest waiting for him to take it before it fell on the floor. He picked it up and dusted it off.
"You are so stubborn." He shook his head chuckling. "You must be freezing, come inside."

I walked in to see a fireplace in front of the room. "Wow." I uttered
"Would you like anything to eat? Hot cocoa?"
"Hot cocoa sounds nice." I said. My grandmother would always make hot chocolate for us when we would visit, it was the best. I sat down on the couch and observed my new surroundings. It was so much bigger than my apartment.
I was caught up in my thoughts when I saw Michael place down two hot cocoa onto the coffee table in front of us.
"Thank you." I said
The mug was very warm and it smelled delicious, but they didn't compare to what was in the drink. Over the hot cocoa was plenty of marshmallows and whipped cream to top it off.
I took a sip and smiled. "Mmm."
"I can tell you're really enjoying that." Michael laughed.
I giggled. "Cmon it's hot cocoa! Who wouldn't love it?"
My brain unexpectedly got the idea to pick a marshmallow out of the drink and throw it at Michael.
"Hey!" He threw the marshmallow in the bin and wiped his hands.
After he cleaned up I threw another one at him "You're seriously going down if you think you can beat the food fight master." He said with a serious face.
Marshmallows flew through the air and flung chocolate pieces everywhere. And that is what we did for the rest of the evening.
