Ambrose opened his eyes. His vision was blurry, and he couldn't see where he was. As his vision came into focus, he realized that he wasn't in the same dark room that he had fallen asleep in. He was in his bed. He knew that. But this wasn't his room. It looked.... Different. There wasn't any workbench and tools. No wooden chair. That was pretty much all he had in his room. A workbench and wooden chair so he could sit while he worked, and a dresser for his clothing. His dresser sure was there. The odd thing was, there was a giant black rectangle with a screen on top of it. There was no projector in front of it, so it wasn't a motion picture camera. His family didn't even have one. They could definitely afford it, the thing was, his father's philosophy was that the world around them was more interested than a motion picture. Ambrose didn't argue. His father made all the money. His mother stayed home and homeschooled him and his brother, Briar. Anyway, there was no way there could be on in his room. His parents wouldn't allow it. His window had no curtains, which Ambrose found odd. His window always had curtains. The door to the room creaked open slowly. Amber sunk into the bed, covering the lower half of his face with his blanket. A tall man with goat legs, ram horns, and glowing red eyes. Chains that were wrapped around his arm clanked together, and his grin grew wide. Ambrose shut his eyes, and thought, 'Jack!!!'

For those of you who have no clue who Ambrose is reffering to, Jack the Ripper was a man who dismantled people, however, at the time it was only young women.

He opened his eyes, and the apparation was gone. He jumped out of bed and ran down the stairs and burst into his parents' room, "Jack was here!!!"

His mother opened her eyes, "What?" She asked sleepily.

"Jack!" His expression made it clear that he was terrified, "He walked into my room!"

His mother's expression changed to a smile, "Jack doesn't live around here, hon."

"But!" He protested, "I saw him!"

His mother smiled and motioned for him to sit down next to her in bed.

As he walked over to the bed, in the dark beneath the blanket covered matress, beneath the springs that supported it, he saw a pair of glowing red eyes.
