First Date

This has been in serious need of an update so at last here it is! I went through and read all your comments and due to popular demand we have a date!

I paused thinking for a moment. 

Where did I want to go?

Oh! I know!

"How about we go watch a movie?" I grinned enthusiastically. 

"Sure" Sasuke smiled while still trying not to show how happy he was about me accepting his proposal. 

After we both polished off breakfast we headed out, it was still pretty early so we decided to take a walk along the beach before heading to the movie theater. 

As Sasuke parked the car I jumped out excitedly acting like a small child in a candy store. 

"Wow it's so beautiful!!" I exclaimed staring at the calm waves as they rolled across the sun in the soft morning light. My eyes seemed to glitter with the colour of the sea as the sweet sound of gulls filled the quiet salty air. 

"Yeah..." Sasuke muttered so quietly I almost didn't hear him, I glanced in his direction and noticed the intensity of his gaze on me. 

Turning my head quickly to the side I hoped he hadn't noticed the light blush that was dusted on my cheeks. 

"Well come on then dobe, what are we waiting for?" Sasuke asked as he grabbed one of my hands and started leading me down the beach. 

I felt very self conscious holding his hand, after a few awkward minutes I began to relax. Because it was so early the beach was completely empty. The only other life on the beach were a couple of gulls flying above the waves.

It was so peaceful... Beautiful... 

I looked towards Sasuke and caught his eyes. He smiled at me and I felt like I'd lost the ability to breve! He looked so inhumanly beautiful in the scenery, everything was perfect here. I felt like I never wanted to leave. 

Trying to get rid of my sudden shyness I decided to find something to do. 

"Hey Sasuke! Lets go into the sea!" 

"Dobe, do you want to get wet?" 

"Only the shallows?" I whined playfully. 

"Fine." Sasuke signed giving in. 

I chuckled mischievously, after all... I wasn't the one that was going to get wet... 

Running into the water I stood in the sapphire blue waves, it was so blue it was like the sky on a hot sunny day! 

Soon after Sasuke followed me in. 

"Hey teme!!" I giggled. 

"Wha-?" He didn't even finish the word before I splashed him with the warm water. "Oi Naruto!" 

"Look who's the wet one now!" I laughed at his face. However a second later I regretted my actions as his surprised face twisted into a playful smirk. 

"So that's how we're going to play.." He muttered before splashing me with water! 

I looked down at myself, I was completely soaked! Well no going back now! We started a water fight laughing and splashing each other trying to win. Soon Sasuke tackled me to the floor as we both landed in the shallows with a huge splash.
