"AHHHHH!" you screamed in horror as you looked around. People were being eaten left and right, while you stood frozen in fear.
"Y/N, behind you!" Armin yelled. However, it was too late. You felt a large hand grab you from behind, and a tear trickled down your face.
This is how I die, huh? I couldn't even make it to graduation. My spot in the top ten is wasted. You thought. I'm sorry, Dad. Your sacrifice was in vain. Thank you for giving me five more years. You thought back to everything that's happened since you met Eren. You and him had so much in common. You wanted to avenge your father as Eren his mother, but that couldn't happen now. You were going to die. As you recalled all your precious memories, you felt the grip on you slacken. You opened your eyes to see a furious Eren. You looked at the hand holding you, to see that is was no longer connected to a titan.
"Y/N take my hand!" Eren yelled over the screams of people. You knew you had to. You had to live to save others for dying, and you knew you had to live so your father's sacrifice wouldn't be in vain. You reached out, and you were immediately dragged into the air. Eren pulled both of you onto a roof. "Y/N, are you okay?" he asked. You nodded and pulled him into a hug.
"Thank you."
