It happened, it happened.

I couldn't think of anything else, nothing else mattered. It was over, it was all over... And yet I knew somehow it would never end. The voice hasn't stopped.

The worst part is I actually listened, I really did it. And I can never forgive myself. I'll never be able to go back.

I had to run, get as far away as possible, with speed and distance my number one priority. But I couldn't leave them, my family behind in the pool of blood that they will never leave. But I had to, I could not be found. He won't stop yelling.

"Run! Run now! You don't have much time. I need you to run, disappear. Go as far as you can, I will lead you."

The voice still scared the crap out of me, I found myself running to the door, not even looking back. I left the door open because I wanted them to be found. Wanted them to be properly berried, even though it's really the last thing I ever wanted.

I couldn't breathe and my throat was burning, but still I somehow found the strength to run. It was raining, pouring actually. The clouds and storm ahead made 4 in the afternoon look more like 8. Somehow that didn't matter, I just kept running.

There was a clearing up ahead, and as I ran closer to it I started to slow down, to catch my breath. My throat was still burning and all I wanted was to stop and open my mouth towards the clouds so the rain can run down my throat. But no, I just kept going.
