"You keep running" I was startled by his voice once again. But I did, I kept running. The trees opened up before me and I was crossing a road.

A horn sounded and when I looked two headlights were shining in my face, blinding me. I put my hands out instinctively, and made contact with a hood of a car. I breathed heavily, and tasted my salty tears. I was still crying, I couldn't stop. I began to back away from the car, which had now stopped. I wasn't looking at it, I was staring down at the ground infront of me.

"Oh my god!! Are you okay!?" A frantic boy shouted. I looked up to see him jumping out of his car, running to me. He reached out and held me and as soon as I felt wrapped I dropped to the granit. I breathed, I cried out loud. I was hyperventilating and I was just happy someone was there to hold me; even if i didn't know him. Once I finally caught my breathe I looked up at this strange boy. His hair was short, buzzed infact and chocolate brown, much like his eyes. Which carried more worry than I've ever seen from a guy my own age. "I'm so sorry! It's raining, and I couldn't see. Damn it! Are you okay??" He was shouting over the rain. I shook my head, still unable to find my voice. "How hard did I hit you!? Come on! I'm taking you to the hospital" he was talking so fast I was surprised i caught everything he was saying. He began to help me up, "No!" I shouted, louder than nessisary. "Are you kidding me!? You just got hit by a jeep and your saying your not letting me take you to see a doctor!? Come on!" He tried again to lift me up but I pushed him away and back away.

He stayed away, right where he was. The look on his face was shocked, I must have sounded crZy to him... I sounded crazy to myself. "Please. No." I said in a semi calmer voice. "I'm just, upset... I- I- I saw-" I broke off with a sob. "What did you see?" He asked, sitting right where he landed, keeping his distance. Smart boy. "My family-" "what happened to them?" He interrupted, like he'd expected something. I looked up and met his eyes, they were dead set on me. I almost felt like he could see right through me, I wanted to run. "Th- they're dead. I don't- we were robbed and- they-" I put my head in my hands and brought my knees to my chest. He moved but I didn't bother to look up, I was hyperventilating again. "That's it, we're going to my dad" I looked up, confused. Who the hell is his dad? A cop? "You're dad!? Why him!?" I shouted. He had reached me then, and he grabbed at my arms to help me up, I let him. "The sheriff, he'll know what to do." Oh great, the sheriff I thought. He put a reassuring hand on my back and started guiding me to the jeep. I noticed he hadn't turned the car off, the headlights shone on us. It was still pouring and this poor boy was all soaked trying to help me. I almost wanted him to hold me again, to help me.

"Get rid of him." The voice said.

"No-n-no no!" I shouted out loud to the voice.

My mind was swimming. I could not go to the police, I could not go see this boys dad. I had to get away, not only from this guy, but from Beacon hills.

"No! I mean, I-i" I was finally starting to calm down. "It's- it's fine. My- grandpa is meeting me there. I have to go." "I'll take you!" "No!" I shouted again, " his house is just through those trees. I'll be there in two minutes. Th-thanks though"

This boy stared at me, his brown eyes leaked that he had no idea why I wasn't taking him up in his offer. I took this minute to get a good look at him. He was wearing a gray plaid shirt, opened up to reveal a red t shirt; soaked all the way through I might add. His jeans looked heavy from the rain and once again I found myself feeling guilty that somehow he had been brought into this. I had to leave him, now. "Thanks again. I do appreciate it." That's when I ran off, leaving him standing there in the rain. "Wait!" I heard him shout, but the wind carried away his voice and I ignored what I heard. Too bad I really wasn't going to my grandpa or the police. I was running away from everything
