My Street: A Wolf's Beginning

Chapter One: First Day

(Aphmau's POV)

Today was my first day attending Phoenix Drop High and I was so excited, that I stayed up all night long and I'd probably regret doing that, but it was all worth it and the moment I say the sun raising, I immediately took a shower and began to get ready, putting on a purple sweater with a kitten on front, a pair of blue jeans and cute shoes.

Once I finished getting ready, I grabbed my backpack and smartphone and made my way downstairs to the kitchen and fixed me a bowl of cereal. Just as I started eating, my phone started to ring and I immediately answered it.

"Hey Kawaii~Chan! What's up?" I answered, and for those who don't know, Kawaii~Chan is a mefwia and has been my best friend since middle school and are looking forward to this year.

"Kawaii~Chan is so excited to go to high school with Aphmau~Senpai." She said and I couldn't help but giggle.

"I know right? Just think that today is our first steps to becoming adults, well learning everything we need to know for college and whatnot." I replied, hearing Kawaii~Chan giggling as I take a spoonful of cereal in my mouth as she carried.

"Hehehe~ Yeah Kawaii~Chan knows and there might be a lot of cute boys there~" She said as I rolled my eyes, my mom would kill me if I even thought about getting a boyfriend.

"Yeah, it would be nice if our mom's would let us date." I replied as I hear my friend sigh from the phone.

"Yeah... Anyways, Kawaii~Chan has to get ready now. See you at school Aphmau~Senpai!" She cheered as she hung up, I honestly couldn't help but smile as I continued to scarf down my breakfast and began to make my way out the door, before hearing footsteps behind me.

"Mi Hija... Have a good day at school.... And no boys you hear!" My mom says as I groaned.

"I know mom! Bye love you!" I say, running out the door as I see my mom waving goodbye. I couldn't stop smiling, I was just so excited to attend one of the best schools in the country with my best friend.

From what I know, school starts at 8:00 and it was currently 7:10 and the bus would be here by 7:20. I was actually early which was rare for me since I'd usually sleep in, but as I waited for the bus, I noticed someone else arrive.

It wasn't anyone I knew, it was some guy wearing a black t-shirt and red jacket and had... Werewolf ears? As soon as I noticed this I couldn't help but stare at him, before realizing that he was looking back at me with a scowl on his face. "Haven't your parents told you that it's rude to stare?" He said to me, causing me to snap back into reality.

"I'm so so sorry, I just haven't met a werewolf before is all..." But before I could even go on, he just scuffed at me and turned away.

"Whatever... don't do it again." He said, crossing the street, I couldn't help but roll my eyes as I continued to wait for the bus to arrive. Still I wondered if I'd meet other werewolves and if they'd be nicer cause whoever that guy was is just mean.

"Jerk." I whispered, but I didn't let that get me down. As I waited, I noticed Kawaii~Chan arriving just in time, wearing a pretty pink shirt with a jacket and skirt. It was really cute, so I waved to her.

"Hi Aphmau~Senpai! Kawaii~Chan is soooo excited to start High School!!!" She shouted, as her eyes sparkled with joy, hardly containing herself. I couldn't blame her since I was just as excited as she was as I grinned back at her.

"I know right?" I asked, still smiling. The two of us talked for a bit about what classes we signed up for and so far Kawaii~Chan and I only have two classes together. Which was Art and Potion's which is something we've been looking forward to learning since, we both have tried witchcraft and it's really fun... Even if we accidentally turned our moms into cats at one point, but that's a story for another time.

"Oh, Look! The bus is here!" She shouted with a huge grin on her face as I saw the bus at the bus sign and the doors opened and I knew that today was going to be different
