My Boss's Son

The Banquet - part 1

Marinette's POV:

I woke up this morning next to Adrien again, I'm getting used to it you know? Its probably going to result in a bad habit, who knows? We are going to be stuck together for a long time. 4 months I think? I can't remember, I'll have to remember to ask Adrien. I'm pretty sure we're going to be sharing beds for a while, I don't think Adrien minds though. We do cuddle every night it seems, it's nice too because he's nice and warm while I'm always cold. I might be developing symptoms from being Ladybug all the time. I remember Tikki mentioned that from being Ladybug, I might catch a few symptoms of a Ladybug. Such as being cold, which I've been experiencing literally every night or sometimes in the afternoon. It doesn't really bother me though, I guess I'm just getting used to it by now.

I roll out of bed lazily while stretching in the process. I then walk out of our room and to the bathroom. I walk into the bathroom and gently shut the door. I then go to the shower and turn it on, while it heats up I go over to the sink and begin to brush my teeth. Once I'm finished I set my toothbrush back where it was, dry my hands, and mouth. I then begin to undress, setting my clothes nicely to the side. After undressing I finally go into the shower and feel the nice warm-hot water run down my hair and body as my shoulder length hair rests warmly on my shoulders as my bangs lay loosely in their position. I quickly wash up taking no longer than 10 minuets. After I finish up in the shower I get out and dry off. I walk out of the bathroom to be greeted by Adrien, he smiles at me as we pass each other. "I ordered us breakfast, it should be here in about 45 minutes." Adrien says with a smile. "Thank you." I say as he winks at me with that stunning smile. I still can't get past it...it's so perfect, it could make a person melt!

As I walk to the closet I hear Adrien shut the bathroom door behind me. I walk into the closet and look at the big selection of my clothes. I look through my shirts and pick out a black tank top with some light blue high waisted shorts along with a red flannel wrapped around my waist. I slip on some red converse and toss my hair in a messy bun with some strands fallen out naturally. I walk into our living room and turn on our tv. With the remote in hand I walk around the table and flip myself lazily on the couch as rest my head on a soft pillow. I begin to watch a random show that is on, it's an interesting cartoon. It seems like one I've watched when I was a child. I smile as I continue to watch the show fascinated by its features.

5 minutes later I hear Adrien come out of the bathroom and probably heading over to the closet. I hear him shut the door knowing my theory was indeed correct. Not long after I hear him walk out and over to me as he takes a seat next to me, we both smile at each other. He has on a spandex material neon green shirt that shows his upper body very nicely, he also has on some black skinny jeans but not too tight where it look bad but just enough to frame his figure nicely, and to top off the outfit he has on some black converse. Instead of his usual perfectly shaped hair style, his hair is all messy and perfectly fallen into place. It looks really good. He leans back on the couch and puts an arm around my shoulders and smiles. I giggle and playfully push him away as he puts a hand to his chest and pretends to be hurt. We both laugh and continue to watch the randomly selected show that is now on.

Soon we hear a knock on the door of our hotel room. "That must be our breakfast, I'll go get it." He says as I smile "I'll help you" I say kindly as he nods and we both stand up. We walk over to the door together, Adrien opens the door as I stand behind him ready to help grab whatever. "Here you are sir." The waiter says handing Adrien one of the trays as he then hands it back to me and then takes the other one "Thank you!" We both say kindly as he smiles "You're welcome~" he says as he leaves. Adrien shuts the door as we both walk back into the living room and sit on the couch. After a while we finished eating and placed our trays on the table in front of us. We then hear another knock on the door. Adrien places a hand on my shoulder and smiles "I'll go get the door, you just stay here and relax" he says kindly as he kisses my cheek making me blush as he goes back over to the door and opens it. "Sir Agreste I have a letter for you" I overhear someone say. "Thank you" "No problem" they say as I hear Adrien shut the door again and walk over to me sitting back down in his spot as I scoot next to him and lay my head on his shoulder. He wraps an arm around my waist and pulls me closer to him so my back lightly rests on his chest and his head on my shoulder. He opens the letter and reads:

Dear Mr.Agreste and Ms.Dupain-Cheng,

We are happy to announce that there will be a banquet tonight at 9:00pm and it will end at 12:00am. The banquet will be held in the East Lorvet Mansion, it is one of the biggest places in Hawaii and one of the best, Make sure to dress accordingly and wear a mask to make it even more fun. We wish to see you there tonight.

After he finishes reading he looks at it one more time before folding it back up and placing  it back into its envelope and setting it on the table. "I guess we have a banquet to attend to tonight." He says smiling as I nod "It sounds interesting." I say as he nods agreeing with me. "Well we can spend time together before it starts." He says smirking "Of course~" I say smiling as we continue to cuddle on the couch and watch some movies. The banquet seems like it would be a lovely event to attend, I think it'll be my first banquet. I'm excited because I get to be Adriens date to the dance. I can't wait for this banquet, it's going to be the best night ever....I lay my head on Adriens shoulder as I take a small bite of my toast as he brings his hand up to rest on my thigh. I smile and place my other hand on top of his. We both smile as the thought of him being my date stays imprinted on my mind....
