Love and Family: an Eeveelutions story

Part 1: The Battle

The Battle of the Pokemon was the deadliest battle that ever took place. The two Legendary Pokemon Xerneas and Yvetal, battled against each other.
The Battle caused many deaths, fires, and destructions of cities. Almost half of the population of Pokemon was wiped out. Several Pokemon species survived, including the Eeveelutions. They barely made it out alive.

Before the Battle.......

"Wow, what a beautiful day," Eevee said in awe, taking in the beautiful scenery. The sky was colbolt blue, the trees and grass were lush green, and the tall snowy mountains touched the sky in the distance. Eevee, being the youngest, was curious about everything. She always asked a lot of questions, sometimes she was called "curious."

Eevee's oldest brother, Jolteon, stopped beside her. He sighed,"Yeah, it is gorgeous, isn't it?" Jolteon was very protective of his siblings; Long after his parents died, Jolteon didn't want to lose any more family members. So everyday, Jolteon would wake up first, and watch out for any predators.

"Guys, come see this!" Vaporeon, the generous one, shouted.

Eevee and Jolteon followed her to a sparkling river, with small pebbles and water flowers. The rest of the Eeveelutions were there, too. Sylveon - the happy girl- , and Flareon - the quiet one - were talking about pretty flowers. Espeon- the wistful one - was staring at her reflection. She loved   looking at her reflection. Leafeon - the  calm girl - napped in the sunshine. Glaceon - the bored one - was in her own world. And Umbreon - the shy one - was looking at the mountains in the distance. Whoa, this place is amazing, Jolteon thought to himself. Vaporeon nudged him, bringing him back to reality. "Come on, loosen up a little. You deserve a break," she urged. Jolteon shook his head. "I need to be on the lookout for any signs of danger." Eevee looked up at him with baby-doll eyes. "Pretty please?" she whimpered.

Jolteon just couldn't say no to the baby-doll eyes. Maybe just for a day, I can relax, Jolteon thought to himself. "Tag, you're it," Vaporeon shouted. She raced away. Jolteon muttered, "Oh, no you don't." He chased her with blinding speed, and caught up with her in less than a minute. He chucked, "Got ya." "Awww, no fair!" Vaporeon whined.

"Uh, guys," Umbreon replied, coming up to them. "You need to come see this, now."

The three Eeveelutions arrived back at the river, where they saw everyone else staring at the mountains. They all watched as the legendary Pokemon Yvetal came into view, shot out a big ball of lasers at the mountains, which crumbled away, and soared through the sky.

"What... was ... that," Flareon asked nervously. "Don't know, but.... we should be careful about our surroundings," Jolteon replied. Leafeon asked, "Should we be scared?"

Jolteon didn't have a chance to reply, because at that moment, a explosion happened a few miles away. The Eeveelutions looked up and were shocked to see the Life Pokemon Xerneas. She raced toward the scared Eeveelutions.

Xerneas announced, "You need to get out of here."

"Why," Jolteon asked.

"Because my brother, Yvetal, is coming, and planning on destroying the planet. I have to stop him."

Everyone's eyes widened and their bodies started shaking. Xerneas said, "I know you're scared. That's why I need you to go somewhere safe."

Vaporeon didn't hesitate. She pulled on Jolteon's arm and urged,"We need to get out of here, now."

Glaceon agreed,"Yeah. I'm pretty sure that there's a good chance of us dying if we stay."

Flareon snapped,"That's not helping!"

Jolteon didn't need to be told twice. "Alright, let's go."

Just as they were about to start home, another explosion happened. Yvetal screeched,"NOW, FOR ANOTHER REGION TO FALL!"

"Run! Now!" Xerneas ordered.

The Eeveelutions ran for their lives as Xerneas produced a ray of light at Yvetal, who dodged it swiftly.

Yvetal screeched, and suddenly the sky turned black as night. The earth began to shake, as all the Pokemon screamed and ran. Some Pokemon fell through the cracks and met their fate.

Jolteon and his siblings raced away from the battle, narrowly avoiding being swallowed up the earth

"Run faster," he screamed.

"I am," Sylveon yelled.

"We all are!" Glaceon pointed out.

"Ah!" Eevee tripped while running, a tree tumbling down toward her.

"Eevee!" Jolteon screamed. He dashed and caught her just as the tree crashed.

"Hold on to me!" He ordered.

Espeon shouted,"Jolteon! Eevee! In here!"

The two Eeveelutions raced toward a deep, dark cave. Everyone cuddled together tightly, as they braced for the worst.
