One Shots Competitions

General Rules

For this competition, each of you will be making a one-shot on one or more of the three themes for this contest. We will provide three categories each week and select the best one shot entered under every theme.

1. Mature themes (such as themes with erotic content and excessive violence) should not be used in your entries. Not following the above rule will sadly render your entries liable for disqualification. And sadlier....... it'll lose you the prize.

2. You are allowed to submit an entry under as many themes as you like. Remember, greater the number of entries, higher is the chance of winning. So guys, write to your heart's content!

3. You can submit a maximum of three entries for each theme( and we're here hoping that you do:)).

4. If your one shot is selected as the best story under a particular theme, we'll be posting it in our Competitions book for others to find. In case you'd rather not have it like that, self- debate before entering your one shot, because this is one of the primary rules for submission.

5. You are required to state the password in your comment (refer to the details of submitting an entry below), otherwise your entry will not be accepted.

6. We only accept one-shots in the English language. Sorry for those who're groaning mentally at this horrible rule but we honestly don't have any provisions for that right now.

7. You are only permitted to submit entries under either of the three themes. If your story is irrelevant to any of the categories, it will not be accepted.

8. We accept entries linked with the following series:

• Percy Jackson and the Olympians

• Heroes of Olympus

• Trials of Apollo

9. The word limit is 5000 words. Please don't exceed it, or else your blood- tears- and- sweat infused entry will be disregarded. Very sorry, again.

9. We select first placers for each theme, however, if there are many submitted entries, we will reward first placers, second placers, and third placers for each category.

10. You can claim one or all of the listed prizes if you do win in a particular category.

- State the password in the comments' section (your favorite book/series) and tag at least two other Wattpad users who might be interested in joining the competition. And if you'd like to build our family, making it every PJO fan's home, irrespective of nationality, you're welcome to tag as many people as you like. :)

- You can submit your entry via tagging either Pasionforbooks or Tiscon or our PJO account, @The_PJO_Fandom in your one-shots book. However, if you are selected as a winner for any of the categories, you must email your entry so we can post it in the one-shots book.

- You're also highly encouraged to send your entry through email directly. You can email either noellepasion@gmail.com or bagchistuti@gmail.com.

First Place

- a sticker for your one-shots book (optional). Note that we will NOT be posting it in the one-shots book, rather, we'll be sending it to the winner via email.

- honest criticism of your one-shot (optional)

- your one-shot will be listed in our Hall of Olympus and posted in our competitions book

- you may receive either honest criticism for a book of your choice or you may request Pasionforbooks to proofread any of your works (please refer to Pasionforbooks's 'Editing Services' for the general rules). The number of chapters you want edited is to your discretion.

-votes on any book of your choice

-your one-shots book will be added to our Winners reading list

-your one shots book will be featured in our recommended PJO fan fictions book

Second Place and Third Place

- a sticker for your one-shots book (optional)

- honest criticism of your one-shot (optional)

- your one-shot will be listed in our Hall of Olympus and posted in our competitions book

- honest criticism (or proofreading) of any book of your choice (refer to the details listed above under the first placer's prizes)

-your one shots book will be featured in our recommended PJO fan fictions book
