2071 - Seoul, Korea.
The metropolitan city fell after World War III ended. A massive uprising against the government happened when the citizens found out that the government spent all the nation's money to fuel the war, which ends with Korea as one of the poorest countries in the world.
Now criminals and gangs run the city, as the government and officials are too weak to even protect its citizens. Only the richest of the rich can live in luxury, as the other struggles to live in the slums. Gangnam is still where the 1% lives throughout the years, even until now. To divide the massive contrast of the socioeconomic levels, the people of Gangnam put up the massive Gangnam Wall, as they turn their heads back on the chaos beyond the wall.
S.coups, Jeonghan, Joshua, Jun, Hoshi, Wonwoo, Woozi, The8, Mingyu, DK, Seungkwan, Vernon, and Dino were born in an already wealthy and powerful families of Seoul. The youth of Gangnam, including the thirteen of them, would often go out of the wall to underground clubs located outside of Gangnam to escape the strict rules of their life inside.
One night, on their way back to their secret gate to get back inside Gangnam, a woman was robbed and shot in the leg in front of their eyes. All thirteen of them came running after the thief, and successfully captured him. After that night of saving the woman, they realize their sense of helping others within them, which they didn't know they had by living inside Gangnam with no such thing as robbers and criminals. Soon, they started to go out of the wall to fight crimes for the Outsiders under their aliases, with one-of-a-kind weapons for each of them and combat skills they have been trained on ever since they were little.
They have been going back and forth outside of the Gangnam Wall everyday for a year.
But after a usual night patrol outside the wall, something happened.
