Year 2070 The Brawl, MYEONGDONG, Jung District — Outside of the Gangnam Wall

"Up! Up! Up!" The crowd shouts at the man fainting in the ring, throwing fists into the air. The8, Dino, and Jun, stood with their backs against the wall at the very back of the room, standing on wooden boxes so they could see the fight clearly from far away. Even standing on top of steel boxes, they didn't stood out much. The three of them were wearing all black, rigged and torn clothes, with heads down with hoods over their heads, laying low and staying quiet. Outside of the Gangnam Wall, nobody knows who they are and how much they are worth because of how they blended in. They looked like just another average youths of the Outsiders. That's one of the reason why they liked being outside. They are treated equally, didn't receive special treatments, and didn't have spotlights on them just because they carry famously prestigious family names.

So many kinds of people were there, the different kinds. A man was seen wearing head to toe neon orange vinyl suit with the president's face on the back, another was wearing his hair in a multicolored mohawk. A woman taller 2 meters with shaved head was yelling at the side of the ring, another woman with all hauntingly beautiful full black eyeballs were gathering betting money. Back in Gangnam, everyone looked the same. Polished, clean, with body proportions that are the people inside thinks are perfect. Because of their last names, they were expected to not only behave, but also look a certain way. But they were a bit on the rebel side, as to the other youths of Gangnam, after being exposed to the free and expressive culture of the outside.

The Gate that became the only way going inside and outside of the wall was built secretly by S.Coups, or Choi Seungcheol as the people of Gangnam calls him. S.Coups' father controls the company in charge of the safety and security of Gangnam, and the Gangnam Wall was his idea. Was always the rebellious one compared to his successful older brother, S.Coups paid a group of people who works for his father to build the Gate, merely to be the escape door out of the life in Gangnam. The Gate became the best kept secret of the youths of Gangnam, as some use it to go in and out to experience life outside Gangnam for a brief moment, while some even built illegal businesses such as underground clubs.

The atmosphere was heavy and humid, and the low ceiling makes it even harder to breathe as it feels like your lungs are closing in. The crowd was rough, one wrong move and you'd end up beaten to pulp. At The Brawl, you either become: a spectator, a player, or a fighter. The spectators watch the bloody fight, the players bet on the fight, and the fighters, well, fight for their lives. The players will get twice the amount of what they bet, and the winner of the fight gets triple of what the players bet. But the rules are different, only one fighter can make it out alive. After the winner is named, he will then be challenged again until no one wants to go against him. At least twenty matches are held every Wednesday night, on the basement of an abandoned mall in the center of Myeongdong. The hustle and bustle of the street makes a perfect disguise for an underground fight club, even disposing twenty bodies in one night are not noticable.

The two men fighting inside the ring looked exhausted and so close to passing out. The first fighter, fighting with only wooden nunchucks, looked like in his mid 50's, though quite muscular, it was obvious he was lacking against his opponent. His opponent looked young, probably fresh out of high school. Clean, tall, with a mysterious smirk on his face, as he slashed the man repeatedly on his chest using a dagger. Five seconds later the match was finished and the boy was declared as the winner, while two men immediately entered the ring to pull out the man's body out. The boy stepped out and was given a stack of cash right away as the crowd cheers on him.
