"28, 29, 30, Ready or not, Louis Tomlinson, here I come!!!!", I shouted at the top of my lungs.As I whipped my hand off my eyes and ran around the huge tree, I heard little giggles. I knew the were from my bestfriend, Louis.I then shouted "Lou, Where are you!", as I said that I heard a fit of giggles coming from behind the slide.I quickly made my way over, jumping up and over the base of the slide and said "Gotcha!".Lou looked at me wide eyed for a few seconds and sprinted to the base.I tried my best to catch up, but my short legs wouldn't allow me.Before I knew it, I was hot on his heels, but it was too late, he already wrapped himself around the tree screaming "I'M SAFE!!!!".I let out a sigh, out of breath I asked him "Gosh Lou, why do you have to be so fast?"." Maybe because I'm older, and also, I'm a boy.Boys are always faster and stronger than girls because Boys rule and girls drool!", he said in that sassy little high pitched boy voice of his.He was already off of the tree standing with his hand on his hips, giving me a lecture about what he just said.I then started smiling like an idiot and he asked me "What are you so happy about, I'm giving you a lecture of how boys- I cut him off jamming my finger into his stomach saying "You never said base all over me, you're it!"

Today

(Taryns P.o.v)

Well that was 12 years ago, Lou was 8 and I was 7.I thought to myself, those were the days.Currently Lou was 20 and I was 19.He left 4 years ago to audition for the X Factor.I remember like it was yesterday.

[FLASHBACK]

He just finished singing Hey there Delilah, by the Plain White T's.I was so proud of him for finding enough courage to finally, audition for the X Factor.I was crushed because He was leaving,but also proud that he was he was following his dreams.I supported him all the way!I saw that pretty white smile of his and I also noticed he was tearing up.So I pulled him in for a hug and said "Lou, I Am so proud of you, I'm glad you're full filling your dream, I am.But I'm really going to miss you".He was leaving tomorrow morning for his flight to the audition.He said "Taryn, I am so totally going to miss you more.But remember we will still keep in touch,remember, Skype,phone call, and text messaging every day!If I make it."he mumbled the last part."Lou, don't say that,you'll make it, you have an AMAZING voice!"."Thanks, I just hope that its good enough".So that was it, I had to go home because of curfew and he had to sleep and get ready for the big day tomorrow.We said our goodbyes and hugged, he reassured me we would keep in touch and I left.

I started tearing up of the thought, but also knew that I had an amazing bestfriend that wouldn't ever brake his promises.Yes we still kept in contact.We had Skype calls and everything he said.He made it, going solo, but then joined into a band with four other guys.They are so talented and attractive.They got 3rd in X factor and became known World wide as One Direction.Girls were all over them, I can't lie, I'm a big directioner, but some of the fans are so dedicated its crazy!Anyways, back to the boys, we have a Skype date later at 6.I can't wait!
