Protecting Him

Your POV
We go back to school today.... "Taehyung. I need to talk to you." I said. He walks over to me. "Let's pretend we don't get along when we get to school okay?" I said. His eyes widen. "What why?" He asks. "I don't want you to be bullied for helping me. I don't want more ridiculed it will only make things harder..." I said. And maybe that way I can't stop liking you. "But--" he starts. "No buts Taehyung, it will make things easier for the both of us." I said. He opens his mouth to argue, but shuts it. Then does it again. He sighs. "Fine... But if anything happens to you....." He trails the shakes his head. "Fine." He mutters again before walking away. Don't act like you care so much... I know you dorm care that much about me. I shake my head then go to school.

Taehyung's POV
I hated this.... I wasn't close enough to protect her if something were to wrong. But she's right.... It could keep us both out of trouble from other students..... Ugh I hate this. I glanced at her every now and then. I needed to make sure she's okay. That she's not gonna get hurt. "Taehyung? You okay?" Jimin asked breaking my daze. "Yeah..... I'm fine." I replied. "Soo... Prom is in a few weeks anyone know who they wanna take?" JungKook asked. I shake my head. A few murmurs come from the group. "What about what you're gonna wear?" Hobi asked. I nod. Agreements flow through out. "Are you sure you're okay Taehyung?" Namjoon asks. "Hmm? Oh yeah I'm sure." I mumble. "You're worried about her aren't you?" He asked. I nod. "So then go talk to her." Jin said. "No.... No that could get her hurt." I state quickly shaking my head. "Taehyung..." Yoongi says. I hum. "Do you like her already?" He asked. "What?" I asked looking at him. "Do you like her?" He asked again. "No... No absolutely not." I replied. "What if she heard you say that?" Jin asked. I hesitate for some unknown reason. "Why would she care?" I asked. Jin mumbles something but I couldn't understand what he said.

Jin's POV
"Because I know something you don't." I mumbled. He rolls his eyes and suddenly gets up and walks away. "Hyung, is everything okay?" Namjoon asked. "Tell know one when I tell you." I whispered. "You guys know I'm good at feelings and stuff right? Like figuring out what people are feeling." I said and they nod in confirmation. "(Yn) likes Taehyung." I whispered. "So if she had heard him say that he didn't like her...." Namjoon trailed. "She's be heartbroken." I confirmed. "What are we gonna do?" JungKook asked. "It's just a crush right? So it should go just away?" Namjoon said. I shake my head. "I feel this is beyond crush." I said. "I think she's in love with him.... But she doesn't know that. She just thinks it's 'like'." I said.
