te, sana naman maging masaya kayo ni Kuya Alfred lalo na at ikakasal na kayo next month. Alam ko magiging happy family kayo at magiging manugang ko.” Usal ko kay Ate Yna.
“I do hope so, too. And I also hope that you will find a man that you will love as much as I love Alfred and as much as Alfred loves me, Nie. Ikaw lang ang kapatid ko Nie, and all I want is the best for you.”
“Thank you, Ate.” I already found him but we can’t be together. Gusto ko sana idugtong pero alam ko naman na hindi dapat malaman ni Ate ang naging relasyon namin ni Mike. Bawal sa simula pa lang ang naging relasyon namin ni Mike, but we opted to risk and unfortunately the truth haunts us, that there will never be us. Not before, not today, and never in the future.
“Ate, let’s eat our breakfast na. Kailangan na nating i-meet si Ate Sheela, the wedding organizer. Kailangan na daw niya ang ibang details for the wedding. Alam mo naman iyon, ayaw nun ng late.”
“Bakit pa kasi si Bestie pa ang napili ko’ng wedding organizer? Hindi naman magaling yong bruhang yon.” I know it’s a joke kasi si Ate Sheela ang one of the best wedding organizers of the country at bestfriend yan ng Ate ko. That’s how they show appreciation sa isa’t isa which I found weird.
*ring-ring-ring*
“Hello, Sheela. Papunta na kami ni Nie diyan sa coffee shop. I know we are running late. Grabe to’ng bruhang to, hindi ka nalang naawa sa buntis. We will be there within 15 minutes at magdate muna kayo ng Chef at alam ko magugustuhan mo si Ford kasi ang gwapo niyan. Ayieeh~ Bye na.”
~Coffee Shop~
Nakita namin si Ate Sheela at yung Chef na nakaupo at nagbabangayan. Actually, parang si Ate Sheela lang ang affected sa discusyon ng dalawa pero I find them cute together. Kasi sa pagkaka-alam ko sa personality ni Ate Sheela, she is very controlled and smart. Of what I see now is very unusual of the Sheela I use to know.
“We do apologize to intervene with your sweet discussions…” Ate Yna said as if she is about to burst out laughing looking at them.
“Yna.” They said in chorus at si Ate naman tumawa na talaga ng malakas.
“No other than. Para kayong nakakita ng multo ha? Bakit? Did I miss something?”
“W~wala.” Ate Sheela said defensively and I can see that she is now blushing.
“Okay. But we’ll talk about this later, okay Bestie?”
“Whatever.”
“So, let’s start. And as what I saw a while ago, I think there is no need for introduction.” Tumikhim ako at ngumiti sa kanila.
