10/10 : this is a story about realisation, growing up, maturity, relationships.
one of my favourite things about this book, is that it has his perspective too. it alternates each chapter between the two which is one of (in my opinion) the best things an author can do.
the story of flora and sean will never stop leaving me in tears and with a hurting heart. every word the writer writes leaves you touched with some kind of magic.
this story does not focus on, but defies stereotypes and changes the way you think about people.
their story is full of ups and downs you don't see coming, and heartbreaking twists.
the reason why i love this book is that, despite never having been in love myself, it makes me feel like i have loved before. reading this book for the first time was a wonderful experience, as was the many times that came after it.
this book is an absolute must, and you will end up with that satisfied feeling in your heart once you have read a good book.
in addition to these amazing things, there is a sequel! nothing warms my heart like a sequel does.... so once you reach the end you know their story isn't over.
