Well, this is my first fan fiction, I hope you guys like it!

I'm Becca Adams. I have dark brown straight hair that stops at the small of my back. I'm 17 years old and I'll be finishing highschool soon! I'm not the prettiest girl in the world, but hey what do I know? I have mud brown eyes framed by long eyelashes and I'm 5'5.
Anyways, right now I'm walking home from school. Well, it's a Friday in April so I'll be graduating in about 2 months. As I make a turn, arriving on my street, I feel my stomach churn. Oh how I dread walking into my house. If I'm lucky, I can run fast enough up to my room to avoid Richard. Richard is my mother's boyfriend who gets a kick out of beating me. Sometimes with an object, and sometimes with his bare hands. My mom doesn't know what he does to me because she's always at work...
No one knows that he beats me. I wouldn't dare tell a soul, he threatened to slit my throat if I ever told anyone! Richard acts like a completely different person around my my mother though. He acts sweet and nice, like he actually cares. If only she knew.
I arrive at my house that my mom and real dad bought together 20 years ago. You're probably wondering what happened to my dad. He died three years ago, when I was fourteen in a terrible car accident. It was a rainy day and my dad was driving home from work and a drunk driver ran a red light and skidded right into the driver's side of the small blue toyota.
I fish the silver house key out of my book bag and unlock the door carefully, hoping Richard won't hear. As I walk through the door, my black and white Chuck Taylor converse squeaking a bit, I see my mother and Richard in the living room, smiles plastered on their face when they see me. That's strange, my mom never gets home from work this early, unless there's an emergency. "Hello darling, Richard and I have an extra important announcement," my mom says walking over to me. Oh no! She better not say what I think she'll say! Instead, Richard says it for her, "Your mother and I are getting married!"

Okay so that's the first part! I hope you like it, because I worked really hard on it, don't worry One Direction will make their appearance in the next chapter!
