I headed back home while Martin and Kayla took Logan back to the bunker for more brainwashing. He was gonna need it after tonight. I parked the car and decided to smoke in the playground in the center of the apartment buildings. I needed to really relax and clear my head, Perhaps that vacation was what I needed.

"That movie was amazing!" A familiar voice cheered in the distance. I looked over seeing a couple getting off their car, it was Kuno and Ashley. I kinda knew they were gonna end up together, they walked up to Kuno's apartment in each other's arms while I watched them from the shadows. Seeing them together made me want someone to love but how can I bring myself to love someone when I was broken. I put out my cigarette and headed home.

The two weeks I had at school felt dead, I attended classes but I wasn't really paying attention to much of it. I was also avoiding Daniel as much as I could. Kayla and Martin were still hiding out, but soon they would go on there spring break vacation with Bryana to Oklahoma. The last Friday we decided to hang out at In an Out before we headed home, I still needed to pack for my vacation.

"So where are you going?" Lexie munched.

"Mexico," I answered. "My mom wants me to meet someone, I agreed. I need to get out of here for awhile."

"Sounds like fun!" Bryana smiled. "I still got to pack, Memaw is gonna take us shooting in Oklahoma. So yay!"

"Daniel has been asking about you," Kuno spoke engaging in the conversation while mixing his shake. "He hasn't stopped talking about you since homecoming, It's getting pretty annoying." I didn't say anything and just sipped on my drink.

"He really misses you," Bryana added softly.

"Anyway, I have to go home and pack. We're leaving tomorrow morning." I sighed. "have fun shooting Tex." I smiled pointing finger guns at Bryana. "Bring me a souvenir!"

It was 5 in the morning and I lazily tossed on my black jeans a random shirt and my black and red hoodie. We packed our bags in the trunk of the car and sat in the passenger seat while my mom drove us across the border to Mexico, Tijuana. I had my earbuds in listening to music while looking out, It was much different than I had remembered.

"Grandma's house is that way?" I sighed taking off my earbuds.

"Oh, We're not going to grandma's right now." She smiled. "We're going to the beach!"

"Sweet!" I smiled, I loved the beach.

"But first.." Great, there was a but. "I want you to meet someone, He's very nice and he thinks you are very colorful.

"This one of your boyfriends?" I sighed rolling my eyes and plugging my earbuds back in. "Fuck it, Take me to grandmas." She grabbed my iPod and removed my earbuds, "Hey!"

"Look, I know we have our ups and downs to the point I let you leave and move away for awhile, I get that." She began. "I want us to be a family again! And I think you two will get along, He respects that I have a daughter. He also respects me. Please, Give this a chance Natasha."

"F-Fine..." I choked out, I didn't like the idea of change. Especially when I have been used to just being with my mom and me. "But I'm not gonna call him dad!" We drive for a while longer and stopped in front of a well-built house, it was small but..it was just small. My mom honked twice and a tall tan brown guy walked out carrying two coolers.

"Nat, Do you mind riding in the back seat?" My mom asked turning to me.

"But I always sit in the front?" I retorted.
