chapter 1

Laying in my bed... Dreading today.. it's Monday.. another shit day at school.. why do I have to go? I get Bullied for having horrible clothes because my mum can't afford it , and a shit phone and nothing nice.. I have nothing... And no one.. my family including my dad turned there back on me and made me feel like there was no point... But that's when i realized I still have the one person I only need. My mother. She's been here for me forever. There's not one day where she shows her love for me ... She truly amazing... Well that's what I thought...

Mum: y/n you need to get up , there's someone here for you.

She said, but it was different I could hear hurt in her voice...

I got up getting charged into my clothes and getting my bag, and running down the stairs... As I got to the bottom step my heart dropped... My mum stood there looking up at me, with tear filled eyes... I walked up to her and hugged her tight... My heart skipped a beat when I saw a tall man standing there behind her... I pulled away and my mum put her hand in mine..

Mum: I'm so sorry.

Y/n: what?

Mum: I'm so so sorry.

She said breaking down.. tears flooding out of her eyes...

Y/n: I don't understand. What's happening?

Mum: i-i I have s-

Y/n: what have you done?

Mum: I'm so sorry Y/n I really am.

Y/n: mum just tell me what's happening.

Mum: i-i I've sold you on.

My facial expression drops , my skin going pale.. paler than a ghost... I look at her and then at the tall man behind her.. my throat becomes dry... A lump in my through making me unable to speak.. my eyes become glossy..

Y/n: y-you have s-sold me on?

I say as little tears fall from my eyes..

Mum: I'm so sorry, I had no choice.

Y/n: everyone has a choice!

Mum: but I don't have the money to look after you anymore.

Y/n: so your selling me on? They could harm me , kill me! And you don't care?

Mum: of course I care, I'm so sorry p-please forgive me.

I walk back a bit shaking my head... Blinking a couple times to let the tears what has formed in my eyes to drop.. my heartbeat increased... Making me hot and sweaty... My anxiety was going mad... My hands going stiff , my body aching from being terrified..

Mum: I'm so sorry Y/n.

A tear falls out of my eye... Watching it splat onto the tiled floor... Leaving a wet patch... I never thought id see the day where the only person I have left , turn there back on me... I run past my mum and the man , opening the limo door and getting in...  A couple minutes later the man comes in with some of my stuff and my phone.. and hands it to me...

Ray: I'm sorry.

Y/n: for what?

Ray: it must be heartbreaking.

Y/n: like you care!

Ray: trust me I do. It's just my job to take you to the owners.

Y/n: okay..

I sat back in the seat... Taking a deap breath... Wiping my tears away...

Y/n: so what are they like?
