Humatrix P.O.V.
Everything's dark, everything hurts... the last thing I remember was trying to prevent those two Infinisapien girls from hurting Night Mist... then after that... pain... True pain...
Like nothing I ever felt, yet it somehow was familiar. As I started to regain consciousness I saw Genos, Mystican, Nighto and Professor Mark talking things out. And looking in another direction I saw Misty laying in her bed unconscious.
I was ashamed, I wasn't able to protect her... I wasn't able to protect anyone... and my dear friend Aksel...
I couldn't move, but looking down I saw that my wounds had started to heal. Odd 'why do these claw marks look so familiar?' I thought, then I had an idea. I used my telepathy to send a message to Genos, and thankfully he got it. "Huh?!" He rubbed the inside of his ear with his pinky finger... er mechanical claw.
"What's wrong Genos?" Mystican asked, "I heard a voice in my head. Sounded like Humatrix to" he replied, oh yeah that's right I forgot he doesn't understand telepathy. Well maybe he'll understand this, I then use my long distance possession powers to take control of Genos's arm and repeatedly slapped him.
"OW!! THE HELL'S WRONG WITH MY ARM?!?!" He exclaimed as Nighto and Mystican gave a small laugh. I then used it again and controlled Genos's fingers to move his lips "guys... it's me... Humatrix... I am controlling Genos's arms... because I have regained consciousness..." I made the cyborg demon angel say.
That's when both the angelic entity and demonic entity started to look a bit peeved "Genos be serious, we can't just assume Humatrix is alright now. You saw the beating he revived" Mystican snapped. 'Okay this is getting me no where' I then controlled Mystican and forced the guy to make him slap himself.
"Okay maybe the guy's regained consciousness" he said, I then managed to regain my ability to speak. "Finally, I've been silent for too long" I spoke, "dude are you alright?" Nighto asked me. "What do you think? I almost got murdered by two crazy Infinisapien chicks" I retorted.
That's when I heard a familiar voice, one that I recognized too well "WHERE IS HE?!?!" A female voice demanded. Entering our ship was my Earth Guardians Teammate And close friend Flora, alongside her were my adopted daughters and sons Ara, Taranee, Kuromi, Boulder, (next ones will appear in future books of Earth Guardians) Fuega (salamander), Maria (lamia), And Cryo (ice elemental user).
"Flora" I said weakly, she ran to my side crying "what happened to you?!" She nearly yelled. "Daddy!!" Taranee exclaimed hugging my arm, "dad what happened?!" Ara demanded. "After the corruption was finally defeated, me and the rest of the Alpha League had decided to settle in a hotel until the base can be rebuilt. Though I offered to let them stay in our base they didn't listen... then those two... two Infinisapien sisters nearly killed everyone" I told them clutching the area of my chest the clawed At.
"I tried to stop them but... some how they managed to hurt me... this pain" I added clutching more "it's unlike anything I've ever felt. It's unbearable" I choked, "just stay still" Ara pleaded, I relaxed and breathed heavily.
"Please be okay father" Cryo said with his eyes watering, "I can at least promise you that no matter what I'll always be with you all" I said. Then flashed a little orange light, then lights on a few of their accessories lit up as well in response.
"Wow... wait when did you ever say we can stay at the Earth Guardians base?" Genos asked slightly offended. "Dozens of times but none of you had bothered to listen" I replied. Then flora grabbed my hand "Humatrix promise me... once this all passes... and... you survive and we get through this... please, return to the earth Guardians." She said crying more.
"You don't have to quit the Alpha League, but i want you to spend more time with the original team you've made. Same with Flame, Twists misses him" she went on. "Flora" she cut me off "Please... the earth needs you... the team needs you, your children need you..." my plant teammate nearly exclaimed. "Me... I need you" she whimpered burying her face into my arm.
Unable to see her cry, I gently stroked her head "if that's what you wish my sweet summer flower... I'll go back" I told her. "Thanks daddy" Ara said which surprised me, since she's a major bruiser.
"Dude I know this is not an appropriate moment" Genos spoke up "but that spider daughter you've got... she's freaking hot, and I have like the weirdest..." I then glared at him. "You have a girlfriend already and stay away from my daughter" I warned, he backed down saying he wanted to say Ara was beautiful.
I won't leave, I hope Flame feels the same way, because I know Twists misses him dearly.
