Chapter 13

As soon as they got to the hospital, brooke was raced to the doctor.

The door closed in front of nick and sianna.

"I guess we should go sit down" nick said looking at sianna. "yeah" she answered looking back at him with worried and scared eyes.

When they turned they notices they both were holding each others hands.
Both first looked down at their hands and then at each other.

"you  left my heart forever when you kissed Irene. I'm sorry I don't want to feel the same way I felt about you" she thought still gazing into his eyes. She wasn't ready to fall in love again.

But then her consciousness raised a question. "when did he actually leave your heard sianna?"

"I wanted to hold your hand forever. I've killed all my chances of being yours. My ego did it." nick thought.

Somebody cleared their throat behind them. It was siannas sister mile and her whole family. They had come in a car after the ambulance left.

"oh honey I was so worried" she said hugging her daughter. "but you had good company" she said trying to cheer the surroundings.

"nick where is the rest of your family" she asked. "they're in the waiting area Mrs. Darling" he answered.

They left leaving nick amd sianna alone.

They both sat down on a bench.

Sianna thought of starting a conversation.
"so what actually happened to her?" she asked nick.

"she was having breathing problems. She was wincing in pain and holding her heart so mom decided to call the ambulance." nick said almost about to cry.

It was now afternoon. Both of them had sat there for hours . Neither one talking nor looking at each other. Both hungry but didn't know how to say it.

Just then Mr solenzki and Mr darling came along." kids you must be hungry. You should go to the canteen nick and buy something for yourself and sianna" Mr solenzki said handing him a few dollar bills.

Both went down to the cafe.

Since there was no food there and only beverages all they could have was a drink each.

"what do you want to drink?" nick asked. "I'm good with an ice tea actually" she said.

"OK then, may I have a regular Ice tea and a hot chocolate?" nick ordered.

They were handed their beverages and they went to sit down.

They ate in silence. When both were done they threw the cups and walked back.

They saw the doctor talking to their fathers.

All they overheard just a little.
" she.... Isn't breathing properly and nor can we predict anything but there is a possibility that we may loose her tomorrow morning unless her heartbeat becomes normal" the doctor said.

Nick was to shocked to move. But unknowingly he felt someone's head hit against his chest.

When he looked down he saw sianna who was now wrapping her arms around him. She was crying. He couldn't help but hug her back.

After about 3 minutes she looked up with swollen eyes at nick.

Nick gazed right back into her eyes hoping he would find some love for himself.

He felt lost and confused without love on his life which had been replaced by pretentious love.

He leant down, put his palm on her cheek and kissed her forehead. Sianna actually liked it. She felt the same affection running through her for him.

She so wanted to push him away but she wanted to stay in his strong warm arms.

Both silently sat down on a bench in front of brooke room and fell asleep.
