Chapter 1
The tour bus was gliding smoothly up the large hill as a mist gathered on the windows. The boys all sat in their usual positions, Calum, Micheal, and Ashton all snuggled on couch and Luke laying on the floor at their feet. Staring up at the television, they hadn't even noticed the rain start to fall. As the bus reached the top of the hill and the land flattened out the bus driver pulled over to the side of the road.
"Hey boys," Jim, their bus driver, started, "do mind if I get out and stretch my legs before it really starts to pour out there?"
"No go ahead, take a break, our show is two days away, we have time," Ashton replied and all the boys nodded in agreement. Ashton then turned around and looked through the window at the lush, green, and mountainous terrain that surrounded them. Ontario was truly beautiful this time of year, and the boys were so excited when they heard they had booked a show there. Turning back around, he stared back up at the television and finished watching Ridiculousnous.-
"It has been 20 minutes, guys, don't you think we should check on Jim, it's getting dark out there," Calum suggested.
"He's right, let's go," responded Michael. All the boys got up and exited the bus, quickly noticing that they were in the middle of nowhere. Then came the realization that Jim was nowhere to be found.
"Go check the other side of the bus Michael," Luke quickly ordered. Michael ran and dissapered around the side of the bus. The other boys kept searching for Jim, going farther away from the bus into a small clearing that ended at the edge of a dark forest. Calum turned around to look back towards the bus and noticed that Michael was not behind him, in fact, no that he thought about it, Michael had never returned from his journey around the bus.
"Luke, Ashton," Calum yelled, "Where did Michael go?!"
"He's right behind you, isn't he?" Luke questioned
"No," Calum replied with a frustrated ruffle of his hair, "guys, lets check back near the bus."
The three boys began walking back towards the bus through the dewy field, checking for signs of Michael's presence but no footsteps that would have belonged to him were outlined in the grass. Once they reached the bus Luke and Calum checked the inside and Ashton went to check the other side of the bus.
"GUYS, GUYS, COME OUT HERE RIGHT NOW!" Ashton's voice shook with a fear that frightened both Calum and Luke. They rushed out and joined Ashton on the other side of the bus.
"There's no foot prints, its like he was never here, like he just vanished..." Ashton stated exasperatedly.
"Or," Calum began anxiously, "he was taken...maybe they both were..."
