I looked at the ring and was shocked. I couldn't believe my eyes. Right in front of me was the most amazing ring I have ever seen, and the guy holding that ring was handsome, and he wanted to marry me! I started thinking what marriage to him would be like. For one thing I would no longer see my family. At the thought of my family I started crying again. Jev dropped the box and the ring and got on his feet quickly, and he wrapped his arms around me. He said, "Oh no, please, don't cry! You know that's my weakness to see you cry! What's wrong my Angel?" I tried to speak but for the moment words wouldn't come out. Jev led me towards the bed and had me sit down with him. He started rubbing my back in soothing strokes and he said, "Shhhhh my Angel, everything will be alright." At that I turned my head to him and said, "Alright?! Alright?! You think marrying you and living down here and not being able to see my family ever again alright?! Let alone, I will have to watch them grow old and die, while I will be here in the Underworld, not growing old, and not dying. No, everything is not alright!" He looked at me and started laughing. I looked at him like he was crazy. "Why are you laughing?! Are you delusional?! Don't you even care that I will not be able to see my parents again, except for the fact that I will have to watch them grow old and die when i will stay young?!" He stopped laughing and turned his entire body towards me and said, "Do you even realize how stupid you are being? You do realize that either way you will have to see your parents die while you will stay? Or are you too 'delusional' to see that? Next time if I were you, I would think things through before you say them, because there can be consequences for your actions." At that, he got up and went out the door, slamming it behind him.
