The only way I'd found Mia was by calling those two dumb ass girls she'd kept up with over the years. Eventually one of their come headed asses answered the pjone and after threatening them more than once they gave up her location.

Finding her in that alley with that fucking low life piece of shit touching all over her, choking her....

Blowing out his brains had actually been a favor done for him. Eric wouldve suggested a torture involving gasoline.

It had began to pour down raining by the time I got her back to the high rise and whatever he'd slipped her was wearing off. I carried her to my bed as soon as we stepped off the elevator and onto my floor.

Covering her up, and sweeping her hair out of her face I took her in. She seemed more child like now but Mia wasnt going to fool me.

My phone went off and I saw Andre was texting me to let me know all the surrounding footage of the shooting had been destroyed.

"Zan?" Mia's voice was hoarse.

"Yeah?"

"Thank you for....for stopping him this time."

Her eyes fluttered and I shushed her. "It was nothing."

And what did she mean this time? Had Mia been raped before? I shuddered to think and definitely wouldn't mention it to Eric. It was already going to be enough questions on why I committed a murder.

"Zan will you lay with me for a little while," Mia asked rubbing her throat. It seemed to bother her and I could see his hand prints on her caramel skin.

I wanted to lay next to her more than I'd wanted anything in a long time.

"Mia...thats not a smart move."

"Cant control yourself?," she cracked a smile.

If she only fucking knew how I wanted to rip every inch of fabric from her body until she was bare in front of me.

"Because I'm way to old for you to play games with."

She shrugged. "Find your inner child and let me thank you the only way I know how right now..."
