When the night sky grew darker and the stars shined brighter, and my thoughts were off the hills, all I wanted was peace. I still remember the day I first saw you like it was yesterday.

You were like a small blooming light in my life since that twinkle. And between those small talks at midnight I could see your sleepy eyes reflecting to the moon's light while you were strumming that guitar sitting near the bonfire. I knew it that second I needed you beside me not for a small time but my whole life. Was it my luck or a favor from God that the very next day you were at my door picking me up for our very first day out. Was it the magic of that night, the laughter and the playful talks or was it the goodnight kiss that still fasters by heartbeat.

Time flew like a dove and by the time I realized I was flying higher then ever.

Maybe it was my fault for taking life for granted and by the next minute I know I was crashed down on land and no one was there to catch me because the one who promised was the one who pushed me to the edge. I was broken into pieces and nothing could fix me cause the glue that I needed was with the one who broke me. He went away without explaining, leaving me with a million question and a broken heart. Seeing no way, I knew I had to go and this pain in my chest wouldn't leave me alone and after a few weeks the doctor said I was leaving forever and still my only sadness was that you were not beside me in my very last days and I kept waiting at my doorstep with hopes in my heart that you would walk past the front yard and knock on the door, calling my name but you never came. So, I take my last breath still with the same hope to hear that knock in my door.
