*Freddie's POV*

•~Back at Carly's~•

I open to see no one there.

I know Carly went to the movies with Spencer to see some hamster movie or something, but Sam should be here.

Unless she's at the Groovie Smoothie, but she never goes there when she by herself.

...

I walk down the hall to look for her.

I could go to the fire escape, she might be there.

She has been acting very "un-Samish" lately.

"Sam?" I say as I climb through the window.

She looks at me, but doesn't respond.

"Sam, please talk to me. If your mad, I don't know why."

"So... If you are... Could you... Tell me why?"

Still nothing. Completing silent, actually, I take that back.

There are loud cars and me talking, so nevermind.

So I just decide to tell her the truth, because I think I know what's wrong.

"Sam Puckett. I'm not asking you what wrong because I want to tell other people, or because I'm just curious, I want to know because I care about you. I would take a bullet for you. I know we "hate each other" but that's just our little game. We never actually hated each other... Right? Because I never hated you, it was just our game. Your a amazing best friend, the best one a tech-nerd-nub could ever have, and you deserve better things in your life, than all this stupid drama you have to deal with. If everything is just gone in your life, wait no, let me correct that. Where most things might be gone in your life, I'll still be there. For you. Because I care. Your important to me."

"Sam, can I ask you a question?" I say.

"Yes." Sam replies.

"Great, okay. I have something that I have been dying to ask for a while..."

Sam smirks..

"Good."

"Sam Puckett, will you go out with me?"

Sam smiles, and I'm worried.

"Yes." She says calmly a few seconds after I ask.

I reach over at her to give her a hug, because it was a little awkward, but she kissed me instead.

But I was okay with it.
