I hit the ground hard, lighting the trees surrounding me on fire. Once my body had calmed down and didn't make everything I touch turn to ash, I analysed my surroundings earth trees were much bigger then on my planet, but I guess we accidently keep burning our trees down so no wonder they're so small compared to these ones. I stood up feeling like my stomach would puke everything out. I walked in a northerly direction at lease I think I was walking north. I was fully aware of how my legs kept shaking, I used the trees I didn't burn down to get me to the nearest town. After hours of walking I finally reached a small town, I looked for a sign pointing to a motel. Eventually I spotted a building that said motel and shuffled towards it, once I entered the cool breeze hit me I have never been so happy to actually be cold.
"Excuse me, would you like a room?" A woman at the reception desk asked me.
"Yes please, I will be staying for one night and do you also have any internet here and a um..." What was it called again? I didn't study for six months to learn human language to forget something so important oh I know what it's called "computer, please?" I asked.
"Sure thing, where's your accent from? I've never heard anything like it?" She asked sweetly.
"Let's just say my accent is from a really far way place" I laughed.
Luckily she didn't catch onto my double meaning.
1 month later
I was now settled into Earth's lifestyle I've had no contact from my planet so far, it was weird like they had forgotten about me. I feel like I'm really close to finding him, my planets energy is radiating brilliantly from this new town. His power must be extremely strong if he can actually create this much energy.
"It's got 5 rooms and 2 bathrooms," the real-estate agent told me.
"Sounds perfect, sorry my parents couldn't make it they got caught up" I told her.
"It's ok, just give them these papers to finalize the house and it will be all yours."
We walked out of the house I hopped into my car and drove off in a random direction. I was driving for five minutes when I pulled over, I signed the papers not really caring what they say. Sheesh, human life was so frustrating, why can't they just keep it nice and simple? Finally what felt like hours of signing the papers, I was done.
I drove off again this time heading towards the school, hopefully no one would try and steal my car it was a top notch model and this looks like a pretty shady school. I headed inside stumbling around hoping I would find the administration office, I ran into a hard chest.
"Sorry I wasn't looking where I was going," I explained.
I looked up, I met sparkly blue eyes this guy was hot, for a human at least. He had floppy brown hair and tanned skin he was way hotter than any normal humans.
"It's ok I should've been looking where I was going as well, I'm Jake by the way," he said.
I smiled, "I'm Lucy, it was nice meeting you but I've gotta go," I explained and walked away.
I could feel his eyes on me until I had turned a corner. Finally I could see a sign leading to the administration office this school was like a maze.
"Hi, I'm Lucy and I would like to apply to this school," I stated to a nice looking old lady at the front desk.
"Sure sweetie, just fill these out and get your parents signature," she said.
"I'll be back soon,"
I grabbed the papers and went around a corner, filled in all my details and put my parents signature down. I went back around the corner and gave the lady the papers.
"Once we get all your subjects in order we'll give you a call when you can start school," she explained.
I walked back to my car and drove off to the real-estate agent and gave her the papers.
"You can move in as soon as you want now," she stated.
"Thanks," I said and was about to walk out when she said.
"You know it's weird I haven't actually met your parents," she stated.
"Well they're very busy people, bye" I hurried and almost ran out.
Hopefully he didn't suspect anything. My new house is fantastic so many rooms to myself I grabbed a blanket and a pillow and slept on the floor. I'd have to go buy everything but right now I just want to pass out from exhaustion.
I was awoken by my stupid phone just stop ringing already, I groggily picked it up.
"Hello" I said while yawning.
"Hello Mrs. Stewart I was calling you to tell you that your daughter is now enrolled in withermoore high school she starts on Monday, if you have any queries you can come into school tomorrow thankyou and goodbye" The lady on the phone hung up.
I was woken up because of that? Ugh I like my sleep, a lot.
I spent most of my Sunday buying things for my house, I had a couple of boxes in my car from my planet but that was it.
I put them in one of the rooms in my house, I started scrounging around the boxes looking for my half-finished robot dog, having the power of inventing from my planet made me very creative I had a couple of other powers as well.
Sunday went incredibly quickly and finally it was Monday, I wonder how long it would take me to track down the boy they didn't give me many details just that he was my age 16 and he had many different powers.
I parked my car right out front of the school, everyone was dead silent and looking at me I felt like Zac Efron off '17 again' I walked into school and went to the administration office this time I didn't get lost, thankfully.
The old lady gave me my classes and gave me my locker number, I guess I was meant to find it by myself since she didn't tell me where to go she was so helpful, not. I was following the locker numbers and I finally found mine.
The bell rang, it was incredibly loud I was late for class already "well... this will be a fun day," I sarcastically mumbled to myself.
My room was really easy to find it was right near my locker I had extension English first. I knocked on the door and a teacher waved for me to come in.
"Hi, I'm Lucy, this is extension English right?" I asked.
"Yes, this is extension English there is a seat over there please be on time next time," he replied.
The only seat available was at the back of the class, I sat down and every one stared at me like I was an alien, though I guess I was so...
"Hi" A guy said next to me.
"Um hi, I'm Lucy" I awkwardly said.
"Yeah, I know, you just said your name to the whole class," he chuckled.
"I'm Henry"
