Three weeks later

"Can I get a small coffee with two shots please?" Before the cashier could reply, there was a loud crash. She looked up. "Never mind."

"Oh shit." Echo took off down the street, running away from the large circular ship tearing through buildings behind her. Gotta find Tony. She soon spotted him along with three others fighting two strange entities in the middle of a demolished road. Echo took off towards the park where she saw Tony land. Peter swung in beside her. "Where's El?"

"Went to Steve's for a few weeks."

"Well, she'll be upset. We're kicking ass without her."

"Hey man," Peter said, blocking Tony from getting crushed.

"Where'd you come from?"

"Field trip."

Echo let herself melt into the shadows and ran towards the foes. Echo called the lightning to her and ran it through the ground into the larger of the two's body. As she got closer, she glimpsed a light beam down from the spaceship and three bodies floating towards it. Letting the shadows melt around her, she shaped her wings and flew to the inside of the donut ship where Peter was now hanging on for dear life. He handed her an earpiece which she quickly placed in.

"Alright, kids. You gotta let go. I'll catch you." Echo heard Tony say. She spotted him flying up to them down below. He wasn't going to make it. The air grew thinner and they both struggled to breathe. She wrapped her arm around Peter's waist to keep him from falling to his death. Her eyelids grew heavy.

"You're too high up. You're running out of air." Tony's voice was faint, almost too quiet for her to hear over Peter's gasps combined with the ringing in her ears.

"No...shit....." Echo's breathing grew heavy. Her hand slipped from the ship and she felt herself falling. Her eyes closed.

Something hit her chest and wove itself around her body. Echo hit the side of the ship and latched on before she plummeted. Standing, she looked over to see Peter in a new suit on the outer ring of the circle. She had never seen this particular suit on herself before, meaning Tony had made it within the past few weeks. It was breathtaking, a fully armored black suit with silver integrated into the fabric. It had multiple places to holster weapons including two sheaths on the back for double swords that could retract into the body when unused. Echo could have cried if she wasn't about to fall to her death.

"Thanks, Tony." She said as Peter grabbed her hand and they swung inside the ship.

"I should've stayed on the bus," Peter muttered.

The duo dropped from the rafters in front of Tony, startling him and Doctor Strange's cloak.

"I know what you're going to say." Peter reasoned, backing up.

"You should not be here," Tony argued, crossing his arms.

"Well," Echo started, "I was going to take the kid home, but its such a long way down and-"

"These suits are kind of insane, so its kinda your fault we're still here-" Peter regretted his choice of words instantly after they came out of his mouth.

"What did you just say?" Tony was mad. Really mad. Shit.

"In conclusion, we are in space." She stated. Echo could tell the mn had given up on trying to convince her to go home but continued to argue with Peter. Her feet wandered to the edge of the platform, looking down on Strange being tortured. They still hadn't met, but she knew she wasn't going to let him die. Or let the stone slip into Thanos' grasp.
