Brick books publishes 7 books and around 9 reprints per year.
Editors are interested and supportive of submissions from indigenous poets, racialized poets, LGBTQ poets, and poets with disabilities.
Around 100 manuscripts are received per year but, again, only 7 books are published.
Along with a manuscript they require a being cover letter containing relevant info about the author and their writing.
Submissions are only read between January 1 and April 30. Their publishing schedule is filled 2 years prior.
