5. Soccer

I woke up feeling the sun peek through my curtains. I was so excited! Today is gonna be a good day. After school I'm going to go to the ice cream place with Trevor.

He is so cute and nice. I can't wait to get to know him. He is so attractive and I really can't believe he asked me out. Hopefully it won't be awkward talking to him, I really hope it goes well.

It is really sunny today, so I'm going to put on white jeans shorts, a yellow Calvin Klein T-shirt and some white vans. I walked to my bathroom and washed my face and curled my hair. I went downstairs and ate some breakfast. I got a text from Mindy.

Text:

Mindy: I'll come to your house today😘😘

Leyla: okay see ya😘

I ate my breakfast thinking about Trevor. I know it's early but I really feel in love. I know I'm not in love yet, of course. But something tells me, I don't know. That he is the one or something. Sometimes I feel a little psychic or something. I've never felt like this with any other boy. I mean, I haven't felt this with a girl either haha. But it just feels like. I don't know it's stupid. That were supposed to be together. I have this urge to be with him. I'm like naturally drawn to him. It's weird because I've only met him like two times, so I should probably calm down.

RING! RING!

The doorbell rang, it was probably Mindy.

Mindy: Hey Leyla!!

Leyla: Hi, Mindyyyy!

Mindy: Are you ready?

Leyla: yep!

I grabbed an apple and my phone, and went out of the door with Mindy.

Mindy: so what are your plans for today?

Leyla: I'm going to go to the ice cream place with Trevor.

Mindy: really?? That's great but I talked with some of his friends and they asked if we wanted to go with them to their pool. It's such a nice, sunny day it would be so amazing!

Leyla: yeah, that would be cool. I'll be with Trevor anyways. I can talk to him and ask if he wants to do that.

Mindy: Awesome! I really like this guy, his name is Lucas. And i think he is Trevors friend, he will probably be there!

Leyla: Yeah! Have you talked to this Lucas yet?

Mindy: No, but I'm really crushing on him!! You know I'm really shy.

Leyla: Maybe i could help you talk to him, at the pool thing.

Mindy: Really? Thanks, I'm so dumb and weird when I am around him.

At school:

I sat down beside Aurora in the classroom. We were gonna have Sience. Mindy wasn't in this class, she was in another class.

When the sience teacher called all the names I heard her say Lucas. It was bad that Trevor wasn't in this class, I could've talked to him about going to the pool after school today, instead of the ice cream place. Lucas was the guy Mindy had a crush on. I saw him sit down a couple of rows in front of me. He was actually really handsome. Aurora looked at me watching Lucas.
Aurora: I heard Lucas is in the football team.

Leyla: Cool. I said smirking and I looked down in my science book. My uncle played football when he was young, and if he heard that I was dating a football player, he would probably become overjoyed.

The class went by pretty quickly actually, and it was actually pretty fun.

After this silence class we had P.E. When the class was over me and Aurora went out of the classroom and on out way to the wardrobes to change to athletic clothes. I was into cheer and gymnastics when I was younger, and I went to the gym pretty often so I was in pretty good shape. Aurora was a pretty girls girl, and she had never gone to any sport ever. But she went to the gym with me and Mindy now and then.
We changed, and locked our bags in the locker.

We went out into the field. We were supposed to have soccer today. Aurora hated soccer, but I actually really liked playing soccer. When the P.E teacher talked, I looked at Lucas, he wore black sports shorts and a Nikey sports white tshirt. His arms were really muscular and big. It was probably because he did football, and was one of the best players in his team I heard.

We started the game, and it was mixed teams with girls and boys, but Lucas was on the other team. Someone passed me the ball, and I dribbled and ran to the goal, I actually scored and Aurora whistled and ran to me and hugged me. I didn't get why she was so glad. I just laughed and we continued playing. I got the ball one more time, but this time someone stopped me and I bumped into a hard muscular chest, it really hurt my boobs. I looked up and saw Lucas staring down at me, he smiled and chuckled as he took the ball from me and ran to our goal and scored. I got really annoyed, I ran to the ball and kicked it to a girl named Sylvia, who kicked it to Jack and he scored.

I could see Lucas staring at me and looking annoyed. I looked at him back, and saw him in his eyes. His eyes were so beautiful and they were glistening. He had a playful smile on his face and so did I. We looked at each other almost saying "game on". We ran towards the ball and, I got it first and my team scored. I laughed looking at him saying " Sucker". He smiled looking away. He was so cute. He said " just you wait and see".

His team got the balm and someone passed it to him and they scored. And so it went on, us play-fighting trying both really hard to win. It ended up being 12-13 to his team and he danced a silly victory dance and I couldn't help but laugh. It was a good game and I wasn't that annoyed that we didn't win at all. Before the girls and the guys went into the shower, Lucas nudged my shoulder with his and said " Good game, you're really good at soccer." I chuckled and smiled "You too." Lucas: "I should learn you a couple of things, so you can win against me next time". I laughed smiling and kind of flirting playfully. I smiled and laughed " Sure haha".

We went into the shower. I thought about Lucas, he was so funny and cute and... I can't lie, really attractive. A felling of happiness and something I've never felt before, flushed through my body.
