The next day Link had headed off to go collect items. He was able to find ingredients, gems, and many other things. He used the skills he had to try and weave a basket which worked semi well. He then met up with his friend, Princess Zelda, who helped him cook a nice cake which was tucked safely away in a case and placed inside the basket Link did his best to make. He then headed off to the Gurudo Desert which was very hot. Once he arrived he asked one of the guards if they could get some jewels to the jewelry maker and have her make some items big enough to fit Prince Sidon of the Zora.
They complied and a few days later Link was given the items. He payed the woman 700 Rupees which he had gotten by selling things he had collected that were of no use to him. Once that was done he prepared a few other things before making the long trek back to Zora's Domian which took a while. Meanwhile, Sidon was currently very busy with prince stuff. He had no time to go and see Link for a few days but once he had time he realized the small lynel had left. This actually made him very sad.
He then headed back home and sighed as he sat on his bed. "Guess he had better things to do than hang out with a boring old Zora like me." Sidon says sadly. He went to bed. A few days later and late at night he heard his door open and the sound of soft hoofsteps like a horse. He woke up and sat up in bed. His eyes took some time to adjust to the darkness but once they did he was surprised to see Link holding a basket while blushing a bit.
The lynel held out the basket to Sidon. Sidon took it and took out the cake. He set that off to the side and then looked at the other items in the basket. He took out the beautifully crafted jewelry and his eyes shined as he looked at the beautiful blue, red, and gold colors. He took out a few other things and then looked at Link. "Is this why you were gone? You went out to travel and get these items made for me?" Sidon asked as he got out of bed. Link nodded a bit and looked away in embarressment.
Sidon smiled and chuckled. He then hugged the lynel. "Thank you my dearest friend." He said. "Y-Your welcome Sidon." Link said back softly. "Do you wish to stay here for tonight?" Sidon asked as he put the items away. "A-Are you sure about that? Am I not gonna be a bother to you?" The small lynel asked. "You are never a bother Link. It would be wonderful to have you stay here." Sidon says happily. Link nods and smiles.
Sidon gets a place for him to sleep ready and the two head off to sleep. The next morning when Sidon wakes up he finds that Link is gone. He worries for a bit before getting up and heading out to find the lynel. Once he does they talk for a bit before Sidon heads off to get food. Link starts wondering if there was a way to make him human. He decided he would look into it.
