Chapter 2: Looking for the lost sun

Taiyou P.O.V.

            I was walking down the street to the other side of town to go get some groceries since I was alone in my apartment and because I had a huge target on me cus of Karen, I had my hood up and my guitar strapped behind me, I then stopped, I was infront of a cafe called, 'The Penguin cafe' so I decided to stop by since I heard good things about this place, I entered the cafe and saw few people inside, It was only 7:00 in the morning so people may not be awake yet, I went to the counter and I was greated by a girl my age with pink hair that had blond tips, "Hello welcome to the penguin cafe, my name is Aine, what can I get you?" She asked, her smile was so alluring and her voice sounded very sweet, "Umm... yeah... can I get a..." I looked at the menue and saw one that looked good, "Oh, The Tomato, basil, cheese special sandwich, with a cup of black coffee, thanks." I said, She smiled and wrote my order down, "Coming right up!" She smiled ang gave the paper to the back, as I was waiting a penguin waddled towards me and snuggled my leg, "Aww hey little guy, I guess your the reason this place is called the penguin cafe." I then heard a laugh from behind me, "Oh I am sorry, its just Penne is not really good with new people, ne warms up to them but for him to snuggle witha total stranger is rare to see."  Said the same girl that took my order, "Huh, I guess you and I are a bit alike, right Penne." I said and patted the penguin, after about 5 mind. the same girl came out of the kitchen with my order, "Here you are, enjoy!" She smiled and handed me my sandwich and coffee, "Thank you -bite- Wow this is really tasty!" I said mesmerised about the taste, "There it is!" She said enthusiastic, I was confused on what she was talking about, "What are you talking about?" She smiled and leaned closer, "You haven't smiled once since entering our cafe, I am just happy to see someone smile because of our food." I then blushed and lookedi away, "Y-yeah thanks." I said putting my hood back up, While I was eating the same girl was still there staring st me with a smile, "-sigh- Can I help you?" I asked, she blushed and laughed it out, "Hahaha I'm sorry about that, its just I haven't seen you here before, so I was just curious." I lowere my hood since this girl seemed like she doesn't know anything about me, "I actually came from the other side of town, I went here to get groceries, since the market at my place is closed till 9:00 and I was actually planning on something so I went here." I then took another bite, "Oh wow." I then looked at her, "Now that I answered your question can you please leave me alone." I said, She lost her smile and seemed to become sad, I felt guilty and put my sandwich down, "Hey Aine was it? Listen I am sorry, it has been a long day for me, I was in a bad mood since last night." She seemed to have smiled, "Oh, Then I hope your day becomes brighter soon!" I then blushed and shook my head, "Yeah thanks." I said looking away.

10 mins. later

"Ahhhh than was good." I was so satisfied with my meal that I did not notice I was smiling, "You smiled again!" She yelled, I then pulled my hood even lower, "I...I... Thanks for the meal!" I then left the money on the counter and ran out the door, "Hey wait, your change!" I then turned around and said, "Keep it!" I then ran fanster towards the nearest grocery store.

2 and a half hours. Later

"Why is the fish so expensive here?!" I complained, I was shopping here for about 2 hours and let me tell ya, the fish here is so expensive, but the vegetables were very cheap, but enough about that, as I was walking I then bumped into... oh no... I bumped into Karen! "I'm very sorry... Taiyou!?" As she said that I started to book it, groceries in hand, "Leave me alone!" I yelled as she was keeping up with me, "Please give me a chance to explain!" She said while running, "NO!" I yelled back as I jumped over a fence and ran the long route to avoid her, after about 10 mins. of running I found myself at the same park I was yesterday, "-huff- Damn -huff- it -huff- Gahhhhhh!" I yelled aloud, "Why do I still miss her!" I yelled, "I heard someone yell" i then saw a group of abults gonin yhe park and see me, "Hey its the boy Karen was looking for hurry and call her maneger!" The other one said, "Damn it!" I said to myself as I started to run again, "Get him!" I heard them yell, I was running again with all my stuff in my hand, I passed a group of girls which also recognised me and started to chase me down too, "MAN GIVE ME A BREAK!" I yelled as there was now a MOB of people running after me, after about 8 mins. a black limo started to drive beside me and I saw Karen inside, "Get in quick!" She yelled, "I'd rather drown than get in the same car with you!" I said while running, the same girl with red hair looked at me, "You will certainly drown in a sea of people if you dont get in!" She said, I weighed my options, "Damn it, fine!" I said, The car stopped and I got inside the car, the mob of people soon stopped chasing me and quickly dispursed.

Inside the car

It was a very silent ride, I was sitting near the right window, Karen was on the left while the red-head was on the other side, "Soo... You're-" I then interupted the red-head, "Dont talk." I said stearnly, "Wow you're such a jerk." I then smiled, "Thank you" I said under my hood, "Hey Taiy-" Karen started to say, "Dont... say my name." I said while showing a bit of emotion, "Please just listen to me." I then pulled my hood up and looked at her, "Ok let's talk about how you ditched me and broke all the promises you made!" I said, she then looked sad on what I said, "What not going to talk? I thought you wanted to speak to me? Why are you so quiet now?" I said with anger in my tone, "I... I... I... am sorry." She said with tears in her eyes, "I thought so, Drop me off here." The car then stopped and I got off, "Thank you, atleast you helped me this one time." And with that I was gone.

And with that done, this chapter had little info about the Kamishiro siblings but atleast you know one thing, Taiyou can run and fast.
