Chapter 4- Remember me

Your POV

I sat in the hospital waiting room for hours and hours
Eventually a nurse came over to me

"Jason's been put into a coma, he's a little more stable now but we are still not convinced that he will pull through this. You can go into his room to see him. But as I said he's in a coma" the nurse said

I followed her into Jason's room and she then left us alone
I pulled a chair next to Jason's bed, he looked so life less
He had tubes and wires connected all over his body
His face was covered in cuts and bruises
I reached over and place my hand on his

"Jason you need to pull through this, I can't live without you, I need you Jason. I love you" I whispered

I can't believe the first time I told Jason I loved him would be in the hospital where he can't answer me back, where he's so lifeless.

" I love you Jason" I whispered again
This time tears started to roll down my face

The nurse then came back into the room,

"Your going to have to leave now, we need to do some tests and scans on Jason" she said

I nodded and got up out of my seat and left the room

I called a taxi from the hospital and went home

When I got home I took a shower and then went to bed
After tossing and turning for go knows how long I finally fell to sleep

The next morning

I got up an got dressed
And then went downstairs

I made myself a cup of coffee and then called the hospital

Phone call

Me: hello I'm calling about Jason McCann

Receptionist: Hi, we would like you to come to the hospital for a chat

Me: is he ok

Receptionist: he's doing ok, we need to talk to you and other close members of Jason's family

Me: ok we will be there right away

Phone call ended

I went into the living room

"We all need to go to the hospital, they need to talk to us" I said

Then me Jasmin, Justin, Tommy, Chad, Landon
Got in the car and headed to the hospital
When we arrived we were took into a room with a team of doctors and nurses

"Jason's doing really well at the moment, but we have one major concern" one of the doctors said

"And what's that concern" tommy asked

"We think Jason will have memory loss, we are not sure if it's permanent memory loss or how much he won't remember as of yet. But we are going to bring him out of his coma and try to wake him up today" the nurse said

Memory loss
Seriously
Surely he'll remember me though right?

The nurses and doctors left the room

"Are you ok" Tommy asked

"What if he doesn't remember me" I said

"He will" Jasmin said

"What if he doesn't though, he's know you lots all his life, but me he's not even known me a year. Why would he remember me" I said

They all gave each other a worried look
Which clearly means that they know I'm right
