"I think Mila's beloved cousin is..crushing on you." Vanessa said, serious.
Lauren stares blankly at her friend, as if she didn't hear anything. Silence filled the atmosphere.
"That's..ridiculous." Lauren suddenly said.
Vanessa rolled her eyes.
"Zooey is just being nice to me because I'll be marrying her cousin. Nothing else." Lauren said.
"Nothing? Then tell me why she's glancing at you every five seconds?" Vanessa asked.
Lauren shook her head and looked at Zooey whose standing 3 tables from them. She was also staring at her. Lauren gulped and looked away after meeting her eyes.
"See? I've told you." Vanessa said, shrugging.
"That's just a coincidence." Lauren said, looking away.
"Oh really? Let's see, one, two, three, four..five.."
Lauren scoffed and looked at Zooey and she was also starting at her.
"She can't take her eyes off you, Laur." Vanessa said, concern.
"This can't..be right.." Lauren mumbled to herself.

Vanessa and Ashley were having lunch together at the office since it is Vanessa's off day.
"Ashley.." Vanessa said, sweetly.
Ashley looked up from plate of pasta.
"What is it Vee?" She asked with a smile.
Vanessa grinned and leaned forward to reach for Ashley's free hand.
"Can you just..ditch work and play with me today?" She asked with the sugar coated tone.
Ashley chuckled.
"I'd love to, but.."
"We can grab some donuts at our favorite place."
"Vanessa.."
"Then we can eat ice cream.."
"After walking and all..we'll be heading for dinner..maybe some..lobster.."
Ashley stares at her girlfriend.
"What?" Vanessa asked after realizing the penetrating stare.
"Is that all we're going to do on a date? Eat?" Ashley asked.
Vanessa was speechless. She really did plan to eat.
All day.
"Er..yeah." Vanessa replied short.
Ashley chuckled.
"That sounds really tempting..but I can't."
"Aww..why?" Vanessa asked, pouting.
"My mom got her eyes on me almost..24/7 and my new boss.."
Ashley paused.
"My new boss is..worse than Lauren.."
"Oh really? Who?"
"Camila." Ashley replied, serious.
Vanessa was shocked.
"Camila is..the new Head Designer?"
Ashley nodded.
"But..Laur said that..she's just a regular staff.."
"No she's not. She's the new boss and she's making us work like crazy and the worst part is that my mom loves her."
"In fact, my whole family loves her." Ashley added.
