Cerise sighed as she paced in front of the foreign dorm room. It was the dorm of the party loving Briar Beauty, and the shoe loving Ashlynn Ella. She wanted to talk to Briar, and it was important (to her at least) but she was finding it hard to even knock. What she didn't know was Briar was standing behind her just watching her with a small smirk.

After a minute or so more Briar decided to confront Cerise.

"Cerise?" Briar asked and Cerise jumped up and turned around with a growl as her eyes glowed somewhat. Briar immediately stepped back and when Cerise realized who it was she dropped her head and pulled her hood a bit more.

"O-oh, Briar. What's up?" She asked slightly nervously and Briar gave her a look.

"I've been watching you pace in front of my dorm for awhile now, how about you tell me." She passed back. Cerise panicked in her head, before she decided not to speak.
"Its nothing, sorry for bothering you." Cerise said quickly and was about to walk away when Briar grabbed her wrist stopping her.

Cerise panicked but didn't move. She knew if it was necessary she could easily run away anyway.

"Cerise you should come in, Ashlynn isn't here, we can talk." Briar said looking at her slightly concerned. Cerise sighed but complied. She followed the royal into her dorm quietly. When they entered Briar turned to Cerise.

"Welcome to my dorm. Well mine and Ashlynn's." She said and Cerise nodded. Cerise looked around at both sides of the room but mostly focused on Briar's. 'yep, just as I expected for Briar.' She thought with a smile. Briar then sat down and patted the spot next to her for Cerise.

Cerise only stared at the spot for a second before hesitantly sitting but still a bit farther than Briar had anticipated. Briar gave her a questioning look and Cerise could only give a nervous smile in return. Briar sighed before trying to get Cerise to talk.

"So I should ask, were you waiting for me or Ashlynn? Because she'll be back in-" Briar started but Cerise shook her head.

"No, I-I came to see you..." Cerise stuttered out and Briar raise one of her perfect eyebrows at her and Cerise seemed to blush and use her hood to try and cover it, but that didn't work well.

"You're... a lot more nervous than usual you know..." Briar pointed out and that made the hooded girl stiffen in her spot.

"Really, I didn't notice." She spoke quickly trying to keep the surprise of being caught out of her voice. Briar sighed and then scooted closer making Cerise gulp but she didn't move.

"S-should you be this close?" She asked but Briar ignored her question.

"Am I making you uncomfortable?" She asked and Cerise looked away for a moment. She then quickly stood up before mumbling, "I need to go, sorry Briar." She didn't even give the princess a chance to reply before she practically dashed out the room, almost knocking into Ashlynn who was coming in.

"Woah Cerise!" The shoe loving princess called when she narrowly avoided a collision but she was already too far away to notice making Ashlynn walk in slightly confused. "Briar, what was that about?" She asked her roommate who sighed and shook her head.

"I don't know." She said and her tone made Ashlynn actually look at her and sigh.

"Briar what's wrong, you don't look like yourself?" She asked with concern and Briar shook her head. "Cerise is so obvious... but I'm... I have a role to play, I shouldn't even be thinking about this.." She stopped talking and the other princess decided to sit next to her friend to clear things up.

"Shouldn't be thinking about what?" She asked gently and sleeping beauty's daughter turned the color of her outfit.
"Well, my feelings for Cerise...." She spoke gently but not quietly, she wasn't ashamed of how she felt, she was Briar Beauty, and they were natural emotions, but she was still a royal.... but if Briar has to explain falling for a rebel to anyone, she would definitely choose her roommate.

"When... did this happen?" Ashlynn asked slowly and Briar nodded, it was a fair question, no one ever saw them interact with each other, so when would they even build a bond.

"Well you know Apple and Raven have been closer, so Apple was spending less time with me, which was totally hexceptable! I thought they were cute, but I wanted to do something new with all the new free time I got, and after a few failed activities I decided to try running, and when I happened to go down to the track, I saw Cerise who was already running, so I asked her about it and she kinda showed me the ropes to running. Did you know after you start to feel tired from running, if you push yourself you can reach a runners high? She helped me otherwise I would've quit. During our breaks at first we would talk about the run, then sometimes about class, until our conversations were just about anything. She's really.... amazing once you get to know her." Briar was smiling at the memories and Ashlynn chuckled beside her making her remember the other girl.

"I don't think that you should be fairy worried about being royal or her being a rebel, because it's not if you should or if you shouldn't be feeling the way you do, you just do, and you should accept it because it's an amazing feeling isn't it?" She asked and Briar nodded in agreement making Ashlynn grin at her.

"The Cerise is fairy lucky to have charmed someone as amazing as you." Briar smiled brightly and nodded before pulling her friend into a hug.

"You're right."
"Don't forget, I was in your place, and it's okay. One more question though.... How'd you figure out your feelings for Cerise?" Ashlynn asked making Briar laugh.

"Actually I only realized it after I had to explain to Apple her feelings for Raven. I was kinda connecting the dots as I went a long, it was a crazy and hexciting revelation after Apple walked away." She laughed after explaining it again.

"You were hexcited?"
"Honestly I was, finding out I liked Cerise, who is one of the most hextacular people I know, and she doesn't treat me like some damsel, and whenever I tell her I want to do something thrilling and adventurous, she's right with me. What more could I want in a mate."

At her choice of words Ashlynn looked confused. "Oh My Fairy Godmother, did you say mate?" She asked and Briar stopped before realizing her slip up. She blushed and nodded.

"Sorry, whenever me and Cerise talk about dating or relationships she just refers to them as mates, I guess I picked up on that." She seemed a bit embarrassed about the fact and Ashlynn nodded with her own giggle.

"I get it, it's fine." She didn't want to go into details, but there were an amount of times she found herself picking up a few of Hunter's habits.

"Anyway, I think you should talk to Cerise seriously about your feelings. But maybe tomorrow, the way she ran out of here, I don't think you'd be able to find her." After Ashlynn said that Briar stood up with a grin.

"Wanna bet?" Was all Briar said before running out of the room almost as quick as Cerise.

"Wait a spell!" Ashlynn tried to call her friend, but just like before she was too far away making the sitting princess sigh. Well, at least she can tell the running was really paying off.
