"I hate this place." I mumble, holding Styles's hand as we enter the house.
"You live here." He says, looking at me with a raised brow.
"Exactly." We walk into the back patio, lots of people around the pool, holding red cups. I see Jaxon making out with Lydia, pushing her up against the wall, her arms around his neck as they lock lips. I pull my face into a grimace as I grab some punch, knowing its spiked.
"You know you can't get drunk right?" Styles says as he takes the cup away, I sigh and look at him.
"Really." I raise a brow before shrugging my shoulders and kissing styles. He kisses back, his tongue wrapping around mine swiftly as he lets out the littlest moan ever. I smile, wrapping my arms around his neck, his going at my waist. Before we get too heated, we let go. His eyes shine in the dim light.
"Why did you do that?" His question throws me off. I scrunch my brows together.
"Do I have to have a reason? Anyway. That was the next best thing. I can't get drunk anymore remember?" I say as I unwrap my arms from his neck.
"Why isn't she turning?" I hear this question from across the lawn, the voice belonging to Derek Hale. Our eyes meet as I walk to him, Styles following me. Just as I reach him he grabs my arm and pulls me behind the house.
"Watch it!" I snap at him as he presses me against the wall, his forearm pressed on my throat, holding me in place.
"How are you in control? This is your first full moon, how are you not freaking out like Scott right now?" His question bothers me, I feel normal, all that's different is my powers.
"I don't know? I could ask you! You were the one who bit me!" I yell at him, my eyes change as I push him off of me, my teeth sharpen and my claws elongate. Suddenly I hear Scott whimper beyond the music. I change back, a worried expression on my face as I pull my eyebrows together.
"Scott's in trouble." I say as I run into the woods, Derek hot on my tail. We run through the woods, whipping past trees and jumping over stray logs that cover the forest floor.
"Scott!" I yell. Yes I'm still pissed at him, but he's like my brother. I could never stay mad at him for long. I see him, tears on his face as the arrow connects him to the tree.
"Oh my god! Scott, what the hell happened." I all but yell, but my voice gets muffled by the hand that's on my mouth. Derek's hand to be more exact.
"Shhh, they will hear you." He whispers. I hear a whipping noise, it's getting louder. Just as it's at its highest, I catch the arrow mid air before it hits Scott square in the face. He lets out a deep breath, looking at me with wide eyes.
"We don't have time for this." Derek says, frustrated as he snaps the arrow connected to Scott, freeing him. We run, not just from the so called hunters- but from the truth.
