Chapter 27

3rd person POV

Ash has just entered Principal Sycamores office to talk to him about leaving early to see Mr. Stone, the producer. Ash is sitting down, with Pikachu in his lap.

Ash's POV

"What you need to talk to me about, Ash?", Sycamore says as Ash sits down across from him.

I'm hoping he'll say yes, but I'm unsure.

"I wanted to ask if me, Paul, Gary, and Clemont could leave a little earlier."

Sycamore gives me a quizzical look. "May I ask why?"

"Let me explain. I don't know if you've heard on Poketube, about our band, 'The Effective XYZ'."

"Yes, of course! I watched the few songs ya'll have done!"

"Ok, well we got a message from the famous Kalosian producer, Steven Stone, wanting to talk to us about our band, and we made arrangements to meet him today after school, but we need to go buy some better clothes to look nice, and then we need to fly to Rustboro City to meet in in his studio, so that's why we need to leave a little earlier."

"Oh ok! I'll glady allow that. At around what time do you need to leave?"

"I'd say around 1:00 to make sure we get ther by 2:40. Oh, can you let Serena come with us early?"

"Sure! I'll send someone around 12:55 to get you out and ya'll can leave then. Also later this week, come see me again.... I've made a discovery with the new form of Greninja..."

"Alright, thanks Principle Sycamore"

Ash walks out of the office, after 25 minutes of talking, with Pikachu on his shoulder back to his first period.

(Back in the classroom)

3rd person POV

"I wonder what's taking Ash so long?..." Serena says to the small group.

Gary speaks up, "Maybe he's having trouble convincing Oak to let us out early."

Just then, Ash walks in, a smile on his face.

"We got it, guys!" Ash says as he sits down.

"So what time are we leaving?"

"I got all of us out at 1, so that we can go to the clothes shop real quick, including you Serena.

She blushes lightly, "Why me, too?"

Ash also blushes, then responds.

"Because you're my girlfriend, of course. You deserve to have this also. You can maybe be another singer for our band, because you have such a great voice."

The teacher speaks up.

"Alright class, lets get back to work now. Study time is over.

Everyone heads back to their proper seats, as do Ash and Serena, as they hold hands under the table.

(Later that day, 12:55)

A person from the office walks in the room, Asking for the 5 of us. We all get up, gather our stuff, and head out.

(Outside the school)

"Okay guys, lets head over to the clothing shop and pick out some new clothes" Paul says.

They enter the shop and get to looking.

After a while, they are done shopping.

Serena is in a blue skirt, Black shirt, with her usual red hat.

Paul has chosen a Black pinstripe suit, matching pants, and a black fedora.

Gary is now in a Tan Corduroy suit, jeans, with a solid white shirt underneath.

Clemont is wearing a solid white suit and white pants set, with a white fedora, and a white tie.

Ash has selected a black suit and pants set, white dress shirt, red tie,and a red fedora.

Ash uses his mom's credit card to pay for this, since his momknows what they're doing and where they're going.

They walk back outside.It is currently 1:25

"Alright guys, looks like we're ready to head to Rustboro City then. Ok Charizard come on out!"

Charizard appears with a excited "Char!"

"Hey buddy, do you think you can carry all 5 of us to Rustboro City?"

Charizard nods yes, and lowers to the ground. Gary climbs on first, then Paul, then Clemont, followed by Ash, and Serena, who wrapped her arms around him, and laid her head on his shoulder.Pikachu jumps on between Ash and Serena, laying down in her lap.

"Ok Charizard, lets go!"

He takes off, and they're off to Rustboro City.
