Petals floated down from the ceiling as if it were raining. Roses and daisies and violets and daffodils... All sorts of beautiful flowers covered my body before the final petal even touched my face. My eyes opened to reveal a blond haired blue eyed man with a bucket of flower petals. I couldn't help but smile. Wouldn't you?

"Morning." He chuckled and set the bucket to the side, kneeling beside the bed I laid upon. I picked the red rose petal off my face and placed it on his head.

"Morning." I grinned and began to sit up, all the flower petals falling into my lap. I shuffled through them, feeling the softness of each one before turning to look at my love.

"What's all this for?" I asked as he simply grinned. He took the petal off of his head and placed it in my lap with the others.

"For fun." His soothing voice replied. I caressed his cheek for a moment before leaning in for a kiss. His lips pressed against mine, his hand gently running through my red hair. When we pulled back, I looked back down at my lap, scooped up the petals, and threw them in the air with a smile. There it was again. The raining flowers. They seemed to fall in slow motion, savoring the moment. Everything felt perfect.

Until the calming images of the floating flowers began to flicker.

I should've known it was a dream all along.

What's worse, though, is that it wasn't a dream.

...It was a memory.
