Chapter Sixteen

"You're sure he said Park Suki?" Kyung looks pained.

"I'm sure.. Sorry Kyung, I know you guys were kinda close... But Jungkook, you heard him too. Right?"

Jungkook nods grimly, not even looking up. "All I could do was hear him... and smell him..." The werewolf's nose wrinkles in disgust.

"So.. So he was tricking us all along? He tricked everyone?" Jimin looks around shocked.

"Well he did give us the information that ended up taking down Magna Blue, it makes sense." Yoongi ponders, rubbing circles into Jimin's palm, half to calm the younger and half to calm himself.

"Where is he?. Where can we find him?." Soonmin glares.

"Honey, calm..." Jin chuckles.

"He ruined everything you built, Jin! He deserves what's coming to him!" The vampire glares at the floor, small pout adorning her lips.

Jin smiles and kisses her cheek fondly. "Yes, dear."

Yoongi looks at Namjoon and the younger nods. "Okay.. Jungkook, I'm sorry. But if he really is a fucking mastermind, we have no other choice."

"No. Fuck no! She's not going." Jungkook glares.

"Going?.. She-... like me be in the field?! Really?!" Kyung grins.

"Nope." Jungkook crosses his arms.

"We won't get close to him unless he thinks we still trust him. Kyung's his friend! Or was..." Namjoon frowns.

"Great! Never gonna happen." The werewolf glares harder.

"You don't have to leave her side, Kook. You'll be personally protecting her so nothing's gonna go wrong, right?"

"Doesn't matter, she's not going." The werewolf growls stubbornly.

"Does she get a say in this?.." Kyung looks at him pointedly.

Jungkook looks at her and blinks. "Nope. You're not going." 

"It's my choice! You can't stop me." She turns, shocked at his response.

"Oh really?." The werewolf turns too, facing her. Kyung doesn't want to admit it but she's never felt quite so threatened by him as she does in this moment.

Everyone looks around awkwardly as the lovers dispute.

"What, you're gonna tie me up?" Kyung glares.

"Would you like me to?" He smirks.

Jimin chokes on a sip of water.

"Jeon Jungkook!" Kyung's eyes are like saucers. "I am going."

"I can assure you, you're not." The werewolf goes back to glaring.

"Can we at least tell you our plan?.." Yoongi sighs, bored of the to and fro, patting the still coughing Jimin on the back.

"Sure, but she's still not going." Jungkook grumbles, arms crossed and refusing to look at Kyung's angry expression.

"It's quite beautifully simple, if you ask me." Namjoon starts.

"No one did." Jungkook glares and Kyung whacks his arm. "Ow!"

"Snip it." She raises her eyebrows in a warning.

"As I was saying, Jungkook and Kyung go first." Jungkook goes to interrupt, but Yoongi stares him down before he can. "And they go into his house and sit him down, chat for a bit. He'll most likely have guards, but they'll have hidden to protect his identity. While you two keep Park occupied, Yoongi and I, both cloaking ourselves somehow, search the premises and report back to the others about how many people we found and what they were. Then we meet up with the others, minus Soonmin, and take them out. Once we've finished, we then go into wherever Jungkook, Kyung and Park are, ask him what he knows and then kill him too. Once Kyung leaves, of course. Then Soonmin pulls up in the mini van and we get the hell out of there. Quick and easy." Namjoon smiles proudly and Jungkook just rolls his eyes.

"And if anything goes wrong?. What if you two miscount?." The werewolf grumbles.

"Then you and Kyung immediately hide. You stay with her constantly, Kook. That way she's always protected." Yoongi offers.

They can all see Jungkook is swayed. It's a sensible, well thought out plan.

"I still don't like this." Jungkook glares.

"It'll be fine, Kookie! Stop fretting..." Kyung smiles and kisses him softly. They hold hands as they walk through the field and towards the small building.

Suk runs out and Jungkook stiffens, ready to pounce. "Kyung!! Long time no see!" He grins from ear to ear and Jungkook hates how genuine he looks.

"I know! Where's your dad?" She smiles happily. Apparently a natural, much to Jungkook's dismay.

"Oh he left me a note yesterday, saying he was staying with my aunt. I was so glad you called! I've been kind of lonely.. You know that feeling when you just know something bad is gonna happen?"

Kyung nods grimly. "I have it every time Jungkook goes out with the others and I'm stuck at home..."

Jungkook looks down, feeling slightly guilty. "Better than you being in danger," he mumbles and Kyung squeezes his hand comfortingly.

"Come inside! It's getting a bit chilly..." Suk smiles and leads them into the house.

Shin watches, gnawing slightly at her lip. "How do you do this, Jimin? How do you fight with Yoongi there? Aren't you worried about him?" 

"Constantly. So much that it distracts me... But, he worries about me too. I know I'll be okay if I make sure he is. That's all you and Joon have to do." He smiles reassuringly and Shin smiles back, nodding.

"Sounds logical..."

"Let's do it then." Namjoon reappears right in front of them and pecks Shin on the lips.

"Yah! You made me jump!!" She hits his chest and he chuckles, kissing her cheek.

"How many did you see, Joon?" Yoongi interrupts impatiently.

"Only three on the left side of the house, four on the right." 

"There were none inside.. Not even upstairs..." Yoongi frowns. "Does that seem a little strange to anyone else?"

"Not really..." Jin shrugs. "They're probably afraid Jungkook would smell them."

"You have a point... Everyone ready? It's not like we haven't done this before..." Namjoon smiles as they all nod. "Good. Shin, Soonmin and Jin with me to the right side and Yoonmin on the left."

Shin grins. "Told you I'd get everyone calling you guys Yoonmin. Kyung is the master of ship names. Whatever would we do without her?"

"Not be called Shinjoon?..." Namjoon raises his eyebrows, smiling.

"True.." She chuckles, holding his hand happily.
