I looked at the computer and quickly walked out of the room. I really did have lots of stuff to do. Muttering to myself I swept the floor for the third time, then washed the table for the second. My best friend walked into the room, "aren't you supposed to be working on a boo-" I covered her mouth, "no..." she rolled her eyes. I knew she knew I was procrastinating. I tossed the cloth away, folding my arms, "I don't wanna write!" I pouted. My bestie just stared at me as I made a long list of excuses. This wasn't the first time I'd done this so she knew what to do. Once I was done she dragged me by my ear to the computer and pushed me into the chair. "Write. Anyhow, what's the point of writing if you only do it when it's fun?"

I stared at the screen, my hands flashing over the keyboard. I was barely able to pull myself out of the story to hear my mum, "hun, you might want to eat something." I nodded and muttered some response back, "lemme just finish this..." but it was too late I was back into it.
The day slowly started to pass and I could not. Absolutely could not leave. I was so close to such an important scene and...and...
I was sucked into the story. I had to keep writing. I had to see how it ended.

Gotta be honest, preaching to myself a lil there about procrastinating lol
