Voices in an Asylum

I woke up
Because I couldn't sleep
They came back again
To haunt me

I'll just forget about it
For now

Someone came into the room
They just looked at me
I look down
They gave me food
I ate a little of the food

Then when I'm done
they re-bandage my cut up arms
They don't trust me

My parents abandon me
They abused me
They didn't love me
Until they came for me and they put me in this special place

Then the person left me I just sat there silently
They came back
I begged them to leave
To leave me alone
But they wouldn't

They grew louder and louder
Until I just screamed
I got up walked around
Until my back was against the wall
I slide down and sat there
Grabbing my head and screaming leave me alone

The people in white came in and they started to put me against the floor
I tried to get away from there grip, they were holding me down
......
I woke up
I saw a spoon on the floor
I got up and picked up
Then I broke it and sharpened it
They came back to check on me
They saw the sharp object and they screamed for help

But it was too late
The voices got to my head
And they said
"DO IT! "
"STAB"
"KILL YOURSELF"
"BLOOD"

The person stared in shock
Blood everywhere
And on me
I had stabbed my neck
As I slowly faded from this world
The voice slowly left
A big wide smile left my face as I was slowly dying..... And said

"They finally left me, I'm happy"
