Ferris wheel

I lie on the damp grass sobbing. Annie holding on as hard as she could because she didn't want to let go. We let go bracing ourselves for a moment then get up off the grass and hug again. My heart is racing at the speed of light.
After a few minutes of us hugging I walk to Hayley and billy and hug them as well.
"Look at you two!" Katie says still holding the camera. "You're going to mess up makeup!" We all laugh.
"Oh my god!! I can't believe you're actually here!" Annie says with mascara running down her face.
"Me neither! It was so hard trying to keep this from you! Me and Katie have been planning this for a month." I said.
"Wait... Mom you knew! And didn't tell me." Annie said to Katie.
"Why would I tell you if it's a surprise." Katie says. "Well we better get ready before everyone gets here."
"I have extra makeup in my bag." Paige says. "I had a feeling we'd need it. Annie and Y/N come wit me." We walk towards a massive tent with tables and a dance floor. We sit at one of the tables and Paige pulls out her makeup bag.
"When did you get here?" Annie asked.
"Today. I met your mom and Paige at the airport." I responded.
"I still can't believe you're here!" Annie says and we hug again.

*Time skip*

Everyone started to arrive and I was being introduced a lot of Annie's friend. I met Jayden and Riley. They are all such nice people. Then I saw Hayden. Me and him have been messaging and calling. Annie introduced me to him on face time a while back. (Btw this is before all the hannie drama so don't come at me) Annie admitted to me that she didn't like him and that she wanted to focus on her brand and not be in a relationship. Me on the other hand wouldn't mind a man. I kinda have a massive crush on Hayden and I think he may feel the same. I could be wrong. I was wrong about my last relationship... anyways.
"Hayden!!" I say as I run towards him.
"Y/N!!" Hayden says. I hug him and he hugs me back. He feel so warm. Like I could trust him with my life. Annie catches up to us.
"Hey Hayden!" Annie says.
"Annie happy birthday!!" Hayden says and he hugs her. "How shocked was she?" Hayden asked me.
"Pretty shocked." I say.
"Wait. Hayden, you knew too!!" Annie says as he playfully punches Hayden.
"Hey it's not my fault. Y/n told me!" He says as he giggles. His laugh is contagious. Jayden walks up from behind Annie.
"Hey guys! Mind if I steal Annie for a bit?" Jayden asks.
"Go ahead." I say. Annie and Jayden walk off. It's getting a bit dark out but everyone is still partying hard!
"So, I've been wanting to go on the Ferris wheel for a while now. Wanna join me?" Hayden asks. Oh my gosh. Is it gonna be like the romantic movie?! Two lovers stuck at the top of a Ferris wheel.
"Of course!" I say. "I mean... sure. I guess." We both laugh and head to the Ferris wheel.

We both get on the Ferris wheel and it starts to move. Hayden turns his head and looks at me for a bit as if he's admiring me. I pretend I didn't notice because I didn't wanna make things awkward. I pull out my phone to take a boomerang. "Smile!" I say. He I press the button and he gives me a kiss on the check. I was blushing SOOO HARD.
"Should I post this. What if someone gets the wrong idea?" I say.
"It doesn't have to be the wrong idea." He says. "Listen y/n I really like you. I think about you everyday since we started texting. When your name pops up on my phone, My heart stops. Every. Single. Time. And I understand if you don't like me back or if I'm coming on to str..." He was interrupted by me pulling towards me and we kissed. A million thoughts are racing through my head. By this time the time it was over we were lowered to the ground. We get off the ride and walk towards the tent.
"I better go find Annie." I say.
"Ok. See you soon." He says and walks away.
