A/N: Date September 19th, 2018. This chapter was uploaded June 2nd, 2018. It makes me wanna die. The format it's in is terrible so let me edit it a whole bunch. Sorry guys!
"Xena, truth or dare?" My best friend Kaizen asks while squirming her eyebrows all around. "Dare." I respond and do the same thing back to her. "I dare you... to ask Vernon to prom." She jokes. "Okay." I tell her after thinking about it for a couple seconds. "Wait, Xena, I was joking!" Kaizen yells teasingly. "I know, but I'm not."
All of my friends should know by now that I am a dare devil, I don't back down on dares. I understand that this 'dare' was something to tease my obsession with Vernon, but a dare's a dare. I still have to do it. Truthfully, I want to do it; I just don't know exactly how yet.

A couple of days pass by when I get the perfect idea on how I'm going to try to ask Vernon to prom. But, my amazing idea has to come to a pause because the bell rang letting me know that my boring class is coming to a start.
"Hello class, today we're going to do something fun." Mr. Ender clasps his hands together and stands with perfect posture in the center of the room with a cheeky grin spread across his face. I hear the entire room start groaning because teachers definition of fun may be absolute torture to us; the students. "You're all going to write a letter to one of your favorite celebrities." He announces. I raise my hand up slowly. "Yes, Xena?" He asks. "What if my favorite celebrity is dead?" I ask him making it sound more like a statement than a question. He looks at me with unamusement in his eyes and responds to my sarcastic question, "Well then Exzena, I suppose you could just go to their grave or something and place your note or letter there." He mispronounces my name the same way everybody tries pronouncing my name the first time they meet me and gives me a fake smile with icy cold eyes. "Anymore logical questions?" Mr. Ender asks the entire classroom. Everyone stays silent. "Good, there's paper in the back; along with markers and colored pencil if you want to draw a nice picture for that person as well." He informs all of us. We all get up at the same time, making the chairs to scratch against the tile floor. I follow everyone to the pile of paper Mr. Ender pointed at and sit back down at my desk.
"Dear Vernon,
I bet you get many fan letters every day and read the same thing over and over. Things like "I love you so much, you make me so happy," yadda, yadda, cliche things like that, so I'm hoping this might be a little 'refreshment' if that's what you would like to call this, from all of those typical fan-letters.
The reason why I am writing this letter to you is because in my AP English class, my teacher, Mr. Ender, made all of my classmates write a letter to one of our favorite celebrities and I chose you. "I choose you, Vernon Chew" I bet you hear that joke a lot, huh? Well, I've never written a letter to anyone before in my life, so I guess I can say you're my first. How I found out about Seventeen was by a YouTuber on YouTube that would react to his subscribers favorite songs and he one time reacted to Ah-Choo Nice. But that's not when I 'fell in love at first sight', yeet, you wish boy. Seventeen just so happened to be the first K-Pop group I listened to but not the first K-Pop group I stanned or 'fell in love with'. It was BTS. After a month or so, I rewatched his videos and listened to your song again and was enjoying it a lot. I laughed at your hair and bandana throughout the music video and teased about you to my friend claiming that you look like a young version of Leonardo DiCaprio. "Jack, come back!" Off topic, but I like how Rose says that after she let go. Like, girl. You did this to yourself. He ain't coming back. I seriously hate Rose. But, yeah, after I re-listened to Ah-Choo Nice, I really liked it and wanted to hear more from Seventeen and so I looked your group up on YouTube and played every song I could find on repeat for about 20 days because I honestly got a little bored but if I'm being honest, you're not my bias. Jeonghan is. Did you see that boys hair?! Nah, I'm kidding. You're my bias. If you wheren't, why would I be writing to you? I don't know. You know, it's kind of weird how a fan can know so much about an idols life and that idol would know nothing about that fans life. So I suppose I can introduce myself. Hello, I'm Xena. Pronounced Zee-nuh. My AP English teacher is an ass and mispronounced my named on purpose because apparently my question wasn't very logical when I asked him "What if my favorite celebrity is dead?" He got triggered, needless to say. I do dance covers on YouTube, my channel is Target Acquired, I make remixes/mashups of my favorite songs and I play guitar and skateboard. I'm trying to write a song right now but it's not really working out so well. Also, I'm 17 in my second to last year of highschool. In other words, I'm a Junior in High School. Anyways. I like your face, I like your body, I like your hair. Don't change anything about yourself, cause man, you're beautiful. I promise I'm not high or drunk when writing this I just, man, I love you. You know? Aight, well, the bell is about to ring. See you later my dood. Or, should I say, write ya later snicker doodle. You freaking Reeses Pieces. :3
-Xoxo, Xena"
