Hey everyone,

So this is the 8th instalment of 'My Glee Story' series. I hope you all enjoy it because I've worked really hard on it.

Anyway,

Thanks for reading!

This was it, my last three months in high school. It was scary to think about it, but now all I wanted to do was enjoy the time  that I had left in McKinley High.

Since the night of Regionals, Mr Shue and Ms Pilsbury had settled into matrimonial bliss, Joe and Sugar had transferred schools ( Unfortunately, and they were still missed very much ), Jake had finally gotten over Brittany, and I had been going to New York very regularly for my 'Funny Girl' rehearsals.

I was extremely busy, so busy in fact that Sam and I had decided to take a break from our relationship until we graduated. We were still in love, but my life was so hectic ( As well as 'Funny Girl', I also had finals to study for and the glee club were rehearsing religiously for Nationals ). I really missed him though, and was kind of miserable without him.

I had also stopped going to dance class, because I thought I had learned all I could from Ms Holiday.

'Hey guys I've had a great idea for a theme this week!', Mr Shue said, one Monday morning, a week away from prom, 'Who are the biggest band in the world?'

'One Direction?', Tina asked.

'Uh, no', Mr Shue replied, ''The Beatles', and I think that this week should be dedicated to them.'

'That's awesome Mr Shue!', Ryder said, and all the rest of us agreed with him.

'Great! I'm glad you like it!', Mr Shue smiled, as the bell rang, 'Get working on your songs guys!'

I was walking down the hall with Ryder, when Sam came up to me and said, 'Hey Lauren, I have something for you.'

With that he pulled out my old leather jacket from his bag.

'Oh', I said, as he handed it to me, 'I'd forgotten about this.'

'Yeah I found it in my room last night', Sam replied, 'I figured you might want it back.'

'Oh yeah', I nodded, 'Thanks Sam.'

'No problem', Sam smiled, 'Well I guess I'll see you guys later.'

'Hey', Ryder said, as soon as Sam was out of ear-shot, 'Are you okay?'

'Not really', I sniffed, 'I, I really miss him Ryder. It was stupid to take this 'Break', because all I do it think about him anyway.'

'You know what might make you feel better?', Ryder asked, 'To sing.'

'You know me well Ryder', I smiled, 'The auditorium?'

'Lets go!', Ryder smiled, catching hold of my hand, as we walked down the hall together.

When we got to the auditorium, we jumped on the stage and Ryder asked me, 'So, what song do you want to sing?'
