My Glee Story 8

Chapter 12

The next day Mercedes and Kurt wanted to sing a duet in glee club, so after Mr Shue agreed, they began to sing.

Kurt: 'I am, changin'. Tryin' every way I can. I am changin', I'll better than I am. I'm tryin', to find a way to understand. But I need you i need you, I need a hand. 

Mercedes: I am changin', seein' everything so clear. 

Both: I am changin', I'm gonna start right now right here. But I need a friend, to help me start all over again. 

Mercedes: Oh that would be just fine.

Kurt: Hey!

Mercedes: I know it's gonna work out.

Both: This time. 

Mercedes: Hey.

Both: 'Cos this time I am, this time I am. I am changing, I'll get my life together now. 

Mercedes: Oh.

Both: I am changin'.

Mercedes: Yes I know how.

Both: I'm gonna start again.

Mercedes: I'm gonna leave my past behind.

Both: I'll change my life.

Mercedes: I'll make a vow.

Both: And nothing's gonna stop, me, now.'

Once they were finished, we all cheered for Kurt and Mercedes. 

Their duet was amazing, and brought back so many glee club memories from over the years.

'So you're seriously going to be on Broadway?', Holly asked me, as we waited for everyone to arrive in the auditorium, later that day.

Holly had told us all to meet us there, including Mr Shue and April, and I had arrived early.

'Yeah', I smiled, 'It's pretty awesome, seeing as I'll be attended NYADA too.'

'And Sam is going with you to New York?', Holly asked.

'Yeah', I nodded, 'He's got an agent for his modelling, so he's pretty happy too.'

'Well that's so nice', Holly said, as everyone began to walk into the auditorium, 'I knew you'd go far Lauren.'

Smiling, I stood up, as Holly had.

'Okay everyone, I have come up with an awesome song', she began, 'What we need to do is celebrate the glee club, and you know what that means. It means we have to PARTY!'

With that the band began to play on the stage, and Holly started to sing.
