I was on earth for a couple of days, when I had an Azurean meal for the first time. I was stabbing a piece of food of unknown origin with what they call 'a fork'. The texture reminded me of the sandals we use to wear on Citerus. I looked at Myrthe, hoping she could explain what it was.. She looked back and she said: "Oh, this is a steak. It's made-" Jacob interrupted with: "Yeah, and it seems like Sennah baked them 'Well done'. Afraid that it would be too raw for our scaley visitor?" "Ever wondered if the term 'Well done' could be sarcastic? It doesn't seem like people would say: "Well done! Your steak is so well baked that it's as tough as leather!" come on. Nobody would do that." Leonard replied. I looked at Myrthe again so she could go on with her sentence. "It's made of the flesh of a cow. A cow is an animal on this planet." this disgusted me. "Do you EAT animals?!" I yelled. "Yes" said Sennah,"Don't you eat animals on your planet?" I replied: "no. Our kind lives in peace with the animals of our planet. We provide them with food and water, and they provide us with fibers and horns which we use to make tools and other things. The smallest ones help the plants reproduce, the bigger ones vertilize the ground, and the giant beasts protect our village from predators at night. Jacob dropped his fork and asked with his eyes wide open: "What kind of predators?" I didn't hear him anymore. I got distracted by this other food that looked strangely similar to mikka, but more brownish. I broke it into two pieces and discover the light collored inside. I would almost think it was somehow mikka of a different collor. Sennah took it out of my hands and said: "that's bread." suddenly the door opened and a quitte muscular Azurean rushed in. But he froze when it saw me Along with it came a big hairy beast with large teeth. The moment it saw me, the beast started growling and making loud noises. Out of fear, I grabbed on to my seat and threw it at the beast. It easily dodged the seat and attracked me. I had to use both of my arms to keep the jaws away from my face so I unfolded my other pair of arms, grabbed on to another seat and bashed it into the beast. The beast slammed into the wall and fell on the ground. With it's tail between it's legs, it ran back to the Azurean it came with and started making sad noises. Everyone looked shocked and angry towards me. They said things like: "dude... Not cool.", "Are you insane?!", "What the hell where you thinking?!" and "you have FOUR ARMS?! That is awesome!". Myrthe walked over to the new Azurean and said as she sat down next to the scared beast: "We can't really blame Vanjira. He only tried to defend himself. He doesn't know what a dog is or if it's friendly or not." My curiosity grew again and I asked: "What is a dog?" The new Azurean started to yell angerly at me: "THIS IS A DOG YOU STUPID SON OF A RETARDED LIZARD! TOUCH MAX ONE MORE TIME AND I KICK YOUR ALIEN ASS UP TO YOUR SICK PLANET WHERE YOU BELONG!". "John! Be easy on him.", said Myrthe. "He is here just a couple of days now, and still needs to learn a lot about Earth." "He needs to learn keeping away from my dog." hished the Azurean that is probably called John. Myrthe was about to walk through the door just as John grabbed her arm and said: "what the hell does this mean? Since when do we suddenly keep aliens in our home?" I interrupted, saying: "you're an alien." "WOULD YOU SHUT THE HELL UP?!" yelled John. Leonard tapped me on my shoulder and whispered: "Yeah, Uhm... When John tells you to shut up, you better shut up. I nodded and started looking through the big transparant wall, as John and Myrthe continued arguing. I saw tiny flying animals, chasing even smaller creatures at high speed. I saw larger variants of those flying animals, landing on the ground to inspect the ground. I saw a lot of other really interesting things as my eyes moved across the enclosed area. Right out of nowhere, my eyes made contact with a pair of mean looking eyes. They belonged to a small creature with black fur, a long tail and pointy ears. As it gazed at me, it's tongue licked over its nose. It kept looking me in the eyes like it was spying on me. I was frozen as I didn't dare to make a move. Carefully I started whispering to Jacob, asking him what was looking at me. Jacob turned around and said: "That's a cat. You aren't afraid of it, are you?" I didn't reply to that. Jacob and Leonard started laughing very loud. "A four armed, 2.3 meters long reptilian alien that scared the hell out of a German shepherd is afraid of a CAT?!" said Jacob, and with the last word leaving his mouth, Max jumped up and ran towards the back side of the room and opened the way to the area behind the house, making angry sounds at the 'cat' as max chased it away. The whole crew ran after Max, except for John. He grabbed a seat and sat down next to me. He started talking to me: "I don't care what the rest says. I'm my opinion, you are just another nasty spacerat that doesn't belong near me, Myrthe, Max or anyone who is close to me." I remained silent and kept on eating the little green balls. John didn't appreciate this and said: "I don't know if you noticed it, but I don't like you. If it was up to me, it was just as okay for me if you ended up cut to pieces in some laboratory. This made me think of Sia, who probably had the fate of ending up like that already. I started to cry and I ran out of the room. I junped through the transparant wall at the front of the house and unfolded my second pair of arms again. This time it wasn't for defence, but to escape. I started to crawl on the wall towards the roof, losing bits of clothing that was shredded by the razor sharp, broken, transparant wall. I streched out my tail to keep my balance and ran across the roofs. I jumped off and ran through the streets, accidentally bumping in to several Azureans who where frightened to see me. I kept running until I finally reached a forest. It was night already. I started walking slowly. I saw a big bulky thing, moving in the distance. Hoping to find some protection from the local giant beasts, I started to walk in it's direction. When it noticed me it started walking into my direction. I thought I was safe until I got a better view on the creature when it walked into the moonlight. It was a big furry creature with giant claws. It walked on four legs until it came too close. It lifted its arms into the air and towered over me. It started to roar loudly, showing its large fangs and slashed it's claws towards me. I managed to dodge the claws and grab him in the middle of the body, slamming the beast into the ground. I kept screaming and punching the beast on the nose and head. When the beast didn't move anymore, I sat down. I could hear a voice calling my name in the distance. Myrthe, Jacob and Leonard came running through the forest and freaked out when they saw me. Jacob started asking carefully: "did you single handedly took down that bear?" I looked towards Jacob and he noticed a big clawmark on my cheek. "Obviously, he did." said Myrthe, while checking the bear. "Yeah, Vanjira killed a Grizzly bear." I hope he's still on our side, after what John may have told him." I could only think of the bear at the moment and said: "This planet has terrifying monsters, walking around."
